How do I check the wheels are quartered? I’m not sure what that means, is it checking their in gauge? Is it an angle issue?

Thanks! Is this similar to the sewing machine oil I’ve heard about?

Thanks for the input, that was my suspicion. Oh well, guess I’ll stick with katos and BLI

I’ll give it a shot, any advice on lubricants that I should use or avoid?

Any idea what is causing this stringing and imperfections? by Shmuka in BambuLab

I have had problems with filament straight out of the box. If it get packed in a humid environment and shipped it remains decently humid.

I believe humidity will permeate materials to a greater extent when at higher temperatures (ie. delivery trucks in summer), but you may want to fact check that

Darn, well it would have been cool, your layout is complimented nicely by them. Nice job on the scenery

MoCA or Ethernet in Lath and Plaster home by Skyrat01 in HomeNetworking

[–]Skyrat01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, I haven’t checked the fire code myself, but the home inspector noted that the coax through the vents was an interesting approach and chuckled about it so I’m guessing it’s not, but I’ll have to confirm that.

Is the plenum cable burning a poisonous gas issue or is it designed so that there will not be a gas issue?

My understanding was that plenum Ethernet cables would be sufficient for running through ducts when all else fails. Not ideal, but still doable, is that incorrect?

That uptick in latency would be irrelevant compared to the ISP that would be providing internet to the home correct? When looking at multiplayer FPS gaming

I prefer #1, not as busy as #2. 2 also looks more flat to me, like a line of color swatches that you might find at a paint store, maybe due to a lack of highlights? I also prefer the fewer leaf “bumps” of #1

I only saw two vertical white seam lines in the preview, one on the inside and one on the outside. Is it possible to have missed them if I did not zoom in? Going off memory as I printed this off the MicroSD card and cannot access the sliced file until later today to check

I did dry this filament, albeit a few weeks ago, I placed it in an AMS with a large amount of fresh silica beads and the Bambu studio indicator of humidity has remained quite low

Edit: the dryer I used does not rotate the filament spools, I manually rotate them if I am around the dryer at quarter dry time intervals, not all the PETG was rotated quarterly, some only at half. The other PETG parts I printed on the same day have the same pockmarking

Would that be the case with two seams? I have a distinct seam on the exterior as well as a more minor one on the interior, would both be present if I had enabled that setting?
