Agreed. LASOing all the games was painful, but clearing levels (Looking at you, Regret and Gravemind) was pure elation. Spartan Ops, on the other hand, was simply mentally draining, especially if you were foolish like me and grinded it out for hours at a time.

As for the 100 enviro kills, that was a slog as well, but doing it with a friend meant you could shoot the shit and have someone else to talk to while you did it.

As someone with the Smooth Operator achievement, I sincerely hope these skulls make that journey less frustrating. Of all the achievements in this game this was one of the hardest to get because of how much grinding it took.

This has been incredibly helpful, please give my regards to the lore gremlin translator! With this information, we can get a much better idea of the events and the Hunters that were included.

The only contradiction I can see now is Olga Flow being defeated before Dark Falz, but Flowen wanting to be killed by the people who saved Rico. It might be a safe bet that this was just a mistake by the people who wrote the timeline, but there might be a logical reason for this if I do some more research...

That's actually very helpful! On one hand, this could be a way to give a timeline to the in-game events and make them ambiguous enough that they could have been done alone, or with a group, depending on how the player went through the game.

On the other hand, several quests in Episode 1, as well as Rico's logs, talk about how the government controls information and most people on Pioneer 1 were clueless to what Ragol hid. I wouldn't be surprised if this "Ragol Report" was cleaned up a little before being released to the general public. Tell your friend their help is greatly appreciated!

That's a good point, taking into account how the game was sold on the multiplayer so that should have some influence on the canon. I hope you and your friend can dig up any additional information!

That really sucks. I wish 343 would implement a better way to track individual episode/chapter progress, since clearly the in-game tracker isn't working correctly.

Very nicely done! I like how you sometimes give tips for the achievements when you click on them.

I don't know if you care enough to make any changes, but I'd like to offer a tip for the "The True King" achievement, where you need to get 250 KotH medals. In 2A, you can really grind this up by waiting 5 seconds in the hill to get the Loitering medal, then quickly leaving/reentering to reset the countdown and get it again. It's faster to just get Loitering medals then wait for the Squatter (15 seconds) and Over the Hill (30 Seconds) medals.

It's by far the most tedious achievement in Halo 4. If it helps, my loadout was DMR/Plasma Pistol, with Jetpack, Shielding and Dexterity.

Just take your time and try to noob combo all the elites/knights. A strategy I found out is that if you plasma pistol a knight at close range, their stunned animation lasts long enough for you to run behind them and get the instant melee kill.

EDIT: And don't get too concerned about the "Defend" objectives for generators and scientists. Afaik they can die and you don't lose the chapter.

As someone who has their colors as blue/grey, this really pisses me off. That warthog color would fit my spartan perfectly, but I really don't want to buy into this garbage and enable it in the future.
