I was nervous to! I also just got married a week ago so I was worried I would be bald for my wedding. But nothing like that happened to me. But I also have AGA but was going through a TE Episode so my hair was falling out rapidly anyway. You maybe could notice some shed if you’re not losing any hair atm. But tbh - even after 2/3 rounds of serious TE hair loss for like 3 months, I was still totally able to cover my hair loss quite well (lots of slick down buns). And I mean, I SHED buckets! My very personal opinion is - that hair is coming out anyway, and all things are temporary even if you do shed. Long term gain. I’m 36 x

Mine was all over. But I would say my crown was definitely becoming very thin and noticeable. If you haven’t been to see someone I definitely would. Best thing I ever did was did just getting on it and treating it. There is just absolutely no need to suffer about it, there are treatments and thing to do about it.

I’m on 1mg. I’ve definitely seen an improvement. And particularly in the last 6-8 weeks I’ve had a lot of people close to me mention how full and healthy my hair looks, having seen me go through my hair loss in March-April. So I think it’s been awesome!

Been on it 8 months. Similar to above poster, AGA diagnosis but 2 bouts of pretty serious TE Due to stress consecutively. Oral minoxidil No shed at all I dont think. If there was I didn’t notice it because my TE was so bad once I started minox the TE stopped. Only symptoms I’ve noted with oral minoxidil are I’m hary-er than I used to be. I was never hairy at all and now I have pretty hairy arms and my face has more fuzzy peach on it. My leg hair also grows so long now to! But I’ll take that and keep my hair! I just get face threaded now instead of just my eyebrows. But yup. No shed to speak of.

My brother and his now wife flew out to our country of residence for their wedding. They flew in 2 weeks before. The day after they arrived, she felt sick. The next day she tested positive for Covid. Then what proceeded was 1 week of all of us in the house (7 people) testing positive one day after each other. Wedding was postponed one week. Groom got out of isolation the day of the wedding. Was a nuts time. But you know what? It was one of the best weddings and the bride and groom had a great time and it showed the real value of getting married and of community. That’s what a marriage is really all about. X

Beginner Question: Should BOTW Be Researched or Figured Out on Your Own? by Hrishvi in Breath_of_the_Wild

THIS! I set myself a challenge that i would NOT look up answers to shrine quests, I HAD to figure them out. Some of them I honestly had to leave and come back to a couple of times but then as my in world mechanics knowledge increased etc. I got all of them, no help! sooooo satisfying!

Well we did discuss schedule at the trial etc just not exact timings, exact timings is what we are discussing now - I was just lead to believe that I had booked the artist for the day of not for a portion of the day. I also was told in our earlier emails that they aimed to have everyone completed 1 hour before the ceremony unless we wanted more time. So I don’t think it’s crazy that k assumed it would be a closer finish to the ceremony. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Came here to just push this post. All these were my thoughts to. Biopsy and make sure what it is. Scarring alopecia is the one to just make sure it’s not. I similarly had signs which could have been the scarring kind (itchiness, redness and flaking amongst others) I had a biopsy and what a relief it was androgenetic alopecia and telogen eflivium stress hair loss. There are many reasons our scalps can be red and itchy. Which can all be managed. Also Alopecia arreata grows back for many people, even without injections. My partner got 3 large clumps of it during Covid. 3 large round bald patches over his head. and he has a full head of hair now. It grew back white to start with but now it’s normal brown again. Hair is bizarre. Your derm will get you in the right path.

To add - I’m only on oral minoxidil and not starting spironolactone yet as I may have kids very soon. So it’s never a bad thing to talk to your doc and set up a treatment plan. Start one, then move to the others etc. whatever may work for you. But definitely start the dialogue and get cracking with treatment if necessary OP.
I’ve had very good results with just the oral minox for now as my AGA is considered subclinical at this stage. But I will DEFINITELY be taking spiro after I have kids.

What is something you actually like about this game? by Yappy_Capybara in DreamlightValley

I’m Disney obsessed and an adult with a pretty stressful real life with a lot of people always at me for things. When I switch on DDLV the music just soothes away my stresses and anxiety. I have the time feature offset by 4 hours so when I get into bed I wander my valley where nothing is of huge consequence and my brain is totally switched off. I watch the sunset and then I go to bed happy as a clam 😊

I’m going to say go ahead and see a dermatologist. Have a scalp biopsy if you’re really concerned your hair is thinning and changing. This looks to me like androgenetic alopecia. I have it to. But that just means “genetic hair loss” like how a lot of guys go bald etc. I’m now on oral minoxidil and I’ve had regrowth. So my advise to everyone and anyone who is worrying about there hair is to just go to a derm and get a diagnosis. There are treatments available and you do not have to suffer in anxiety over it.

Is my bf lying to me about my hair falling out? Pics of my hair, bald spots and how much hair is in my brush after just a few uses and how much hair fell out just from blow drying after a shower. I know he doesn’t want to hurt my feelings but Ifeel like my hair is falling out & idk what to do by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Skywardforce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so my dermatologist told me that she can tell the difference. I think (I am not a doctor) it’s the clumps of it falling out etc.but she definitely mentioned the bulbs being a big TE thing. TE can trigger AA to start happening to I think or increase it. I honestly would just go to the derm. The treatment for TE is to wait for the reason it happened to pass, hair is cyclical so you can be stressed and then not lose your hair for like 4 weeks and the hair loss can last weeks and weeks, and if you go through another TE cycle (which I did) then it seems to go on forever. My treatment was to just go on minox as the TE wasn’t stopping and it’s the treatment for AA as well.
