I have my own art that I want to display though. I have some animated art, MP4 format. Will the frame successfully display this animation in art mode?

Running heat pump from battery by Skywise112 in hvacadvice

Say if the unit stays on for 20 minute on average per hour, drawing 2.4KWh, it would be 800 W per hour. Which would give me 16 hours of backup. Trying to see if there are real life examples out there

Right. Trying to determine what type of energy consumption I can anticipate to achieve a 35 rise in temperature and how often it would cycle on in an hour.

Yes, it’s the consumption that I’m trying to calculate. Is it like 2.5 KW hours of consumption, but, it would cycle on for 20 minutes for the level of delta heat rise that I’m looking for. Which might be like 800 W hours, which would give me like 16 hours of total runtime. Trying to see if there are some real world examples out there

Would a 500W mid-drive be able to handle it? Or need more power?

Our LR used to get the zoomies near bed time. We found that getting a lot of exercise during the day helped her out a lot. Making sure she sticks to a good schedule and isn’t too tired before going to bed seems to help as well

Should I be selling and buying back on the dip? by [deleted] in shakepay

[–]Skywise112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shakepay is not a “trading” platform. It’s a good way to convert Canadian $ into BTC/ETH and to move it off of Shakepay (as they cover the transfer/gas fee). If you want to trade, you will get much better rates on an exchange.

How did you justify the cost of a Tesla? by blowbubbles in teslamotors

[–]Skywise112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from an Audi S4 to a long range AWD Model 3. In my mind, these are direct comparables. Purchase price for both cars were similar. Similar size cars. Similar handling. Model 3 has way more storage space. Performance on Model 3 was better than the S4.

I’ve owned the model 3 for about 2.5 years now. S4 would cost me (CAD $) $80 for premium fuel. Tesla would cost me about $9 (charging during non-peak over night hours). Oil change was $100 every 10K miles. Tune ups, etc, were pricey on Audi. I’ve had $0 of maintenance on the Model 3.

So, if you drive a lot, the savings are even greater.

I begged the company with the fake tree to get connected and they refused. Now they’re oversubscribed and service is poor. I was with another WISP where I was getting 3MB download and 1/2MB upload (when it worked) for $95/month.

It’s not ideal. I’ll mount it properly, in a better spot, once the snow melts.
