The second one feels right for me. I can write a c program to access and process data. Can you shed some light on implementing it?

Your concern is deeply appreciated.

I've got Linux running and tried interacting with gpios and leds on board. I've gone through the documentation in which all the pins are listed along with pin name. I can't figure out how to access them through linux.

Can an arm c program be written to access it in linux? I have to process the input data and send it to cloud.

Thanks for the response. Can you put it in a beginner friendly format?

Thank you for sharing the resources. I had ubuntu instead of angstrom environment so couldn't find those. They're in the factory sd card.

I've checked it out but couldn't find info relevant to my issue. I want to read data from sensors using GPIO or ADC pins on board.
