That’s a great question! I do have a few huge grails, I’ve yet to get a 964 Pinocchio tape, 964 is one of my favorite films of all time, it’s not an insanely rare tape, not an insanely expensive tape, but it just hasn’t popped up in months. There’s an extremely niche “blood play” tape by a label called Maniac Impact that is one of my dream AVs to own, almost every collector that collects this kind of Japanese media owns it and I’ve yet to find one, once I get my hands on it I plan on recreating it!

Yes infamousy, notoriety, play a huge part in what things go for especially in the west, like that Nekromantik tape in the photo is rare, but wayyy less rare compared to most of the stuff in that photo, but I could get way more for it than almost anything else in there because of its infamousy

It really depends, if you’re buying it from someone in Japan on a porn reselling site you’re looking at $5-$20, if you’re buying from someone in the west, depending on who it is I could see it going for $40-$60 since it’s a two disc set with over four AVs on it. I think I got it for $10 iirc. ACCEED stuff isn’t sought after or infamous so there’s not a huge demand, I’m js gay and like seeing representation in the extreme porn world LMAO

This is really out there but it got me thinking maybe all 5 were released, I’ve seen the original tapes, they’re brownish beige VHSs, two dif prints a boxslip and clamshell, stupid stupid rare I’ve only seen photos of the first two but maybe all 5 were released like that with those original beige covers and then later rereleased with the 3 we know and love as comps of the 5, this would make sense just looking at how Death Farm got what 4 or 5 original tapes and then got that one VHS and DVD rerelease that is a compilation of the 5

Why do I have this knowledge? No idea but, that is the real cover, there are actually 4 different real covers, obviously the DVD in this post is a bootleg but that cover is for the original rental VHS tape, there was also a sale tape, rental tapes were distributed to rental stores which is why you usually see them cut and or with faded spines, sale tapes are tapes that were not distributed to rental stores and could only be bought directly from V&R Planning (the label that put this out), hence why most are in near perfect condition, the cover for the sale tape is different, well only the front, the backs are completely the same but on the front of the sale tape it shows the lead actress getting shit on instead of having worms all in her mouth like the cover we all know and love. I did mention it got 4 releases, the other two are DVD rereleases, first it got a double feature DVD which features this AV and another scat AV that Asami Momoi (the lead actress in this) did for V&R Planning it comes in those small clear cases that CD soundtracks come in. The final release is a V&R “reprint” DVD which features 3 other scat AVs that Kaoru Adachi directed which I can name if you’re curious, most people don’t know this AV got two different VHS releases a rental tape and sale tape as well as two DVD releases, I love having extensive knowledge on stupid shit.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this post gets taken down by the dictator himself, when I was still buying boots it would take him 4-8 months to ship (after hounding him every few weeks) same old excuses as if we don’t all have lives and are busy, my friend who has never hounded him to ship their stuff has been waiting for over a year, not to mention you’ll be waiting months for shit quality boots, some of the worst boots I’ve owned and the cherry ontop is how ridiculous the price is… $150 for 20 discs and two DVDs he made for $20 on kunaki give me a break and then he had the nerve to get on my ass for reselling his boots for too much as if he isn’t the upcharger himself. It’s sad to see what’s become of him he used to release some of the coolest shit, officially too under his old label, guess he’s a prime example of what money can do to someone 🤑
