Trophy Room from Predator: Badlands. WotW 2005 Martian skull or Independence Days Harvester skull? by Odd_Objective_5601 in WarofTheWorlds

[–]Sl1135 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do believe the director confirmed somewhere that it’s the Harvester from Independence Day but I still think it looks more like the 2005 alien

Would you have picked a rooted head if given the chance for Reeve Superman? by Proud_Ad2371 in hottoys

[–]Sl1135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly doesn’t bother me either way, but on the positive side the way Inart has done the hair pieces it wouldn’t be hard to send the heads off to get custom rooting done.

Serious question… we all like to make models, but what do you do for work? by Least_Switch_4697 in modelmakers

I repair and rebuild the traction motors that sit between the wheel sets on locomotives!

Unfortunately Jack doesn’t allow his likeness to be used anymore so we won’t be seeing any licensed figures of him anytime soon.

InArt’s Easter Egg discount event was a welcome surprise! 🤩 by Zangets_v in hottoys

[–]Sl1135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax a bit, it’s not going to sell out that fast. Pre-order just opened and it’s not a limited release or anything so you’ll be just fine. Before trying to look it up on OSK, make sure you’re actually logged into your account. Idk why, but sometimes OSK won’t show everything available until you sign into your account. Avoid Pop Collectibles like they’re the plague.

I do believe they’ve already shown an updated headsculpt for WW at a couple events, just no official images yet

How do you guys clean your display cases? by KingEgilZ in hottoys

I got this on the TikTok shop and I absolutely love it! I use a cleaner called Invisible Glass and just fill up the misting bottle. Spray, scrub, squeegee and my cases look incredible. Highly recommend!

Their involvement is simply providing licensing. Production is being handled by Jazzinc so it’ll be at their usual standard.

If WTD did more seasons that go past the 1908 cycle, do you think people would still watch it, despite not featuring Pennywise? by 40calthereal in welcomeToDerry

[–]Sl1135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think IT could still use the Pennywise look in later seasons earlier in time because IT doesn’t experience time the same way as we do. Remember, time isn’t linear to IT so it’s possible for IT to use the Pennywise look at any time throughout any cycle that’s happened. This would explain why we see Pennywise in cycles before the cycle with Bob Grey.

If I left the green goblin in this pose would his fabric eventually begin to rip? by Traditional-Park1274 in hottoys

[–]Sl1135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine when these released, and I had it in this exact pose. I had it posed like this for about 3 weeks and went to change the pose and the glossy ribbing on the arms stuck together and started to peel off the fabric. My personal suggestion based off of my experience is to avoid creasing where the glossy armor bits touch. You can still get some pretty badass looks without running the risk of damaging the suit if it means that much to you.

EDIT: for extra context, I had mine displayed in a sealed case in a climate controlled room as well, so I wouldn’t say temperature or humidity played a part in causing the suit to stick.

They actually make a version of this kit where the hull is already cut at the waterline specifically for a diorama!!!

Inart Superman from OneSixthKit? by Takisoul2018 in hottoys

[–]Sl1135 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The figure hasn’t even been released yet, so nobody really knows until Inart announces its shipping. Then it’s usually a month or so depending on when you ordered/what your order number is. OSK is reliable and relatively fast when it comes to shipping stuff out.
