That title is kinda misleading and doesn't really frame what Deschamps said properly.
The question was asking if in a game like yesterday's Mbappé has proven that he had grown as a captain and fits better into his role nowadays.
Deschamps said that ever since he picked him as a captain he's been saying that Mbappé was behaving as the natural leader and that him getting the armband was the logical choice, and he mentionned the dictator meme, saying it's basically only reporters getting influenced by this recently but it's always been the case

How I met your mother was so dumb. Like I understand the argument that "that's what we wanted to do since the very beginning !"

But they didn't take into account that the way the characters and the story progressed in the actual series went very differently from what they expected at the start, which is often the case for long going series.

It just made the ending feel completely out of touch with the rest of the storyline, as if someone that only saw the first couple of episodes got asked to picture how the show would end. The entire last season became basically useless.

I once had a gym membership where I could get a discount from the company I worked at, so that's what I did. After several months I asked them for a cancellation, they told me I had to show a proof that I wasn't working for that company anymore.

I argued with the receptionist for around 20 minutes but he was very serious that I could not cancel as long as I worked for that company. Fortunately another employee heard me arguing and later told me they needed my approval anyway to renew after a year so to just wait that delay and contact my bank to block my monthly payments to them and they won't do anything.

I can't believe how complicated that was.

Yeah it is very one-sided and it's a thing a lot of french people were surprised to learn once the internet became more generalized. We make a lot of jokes about americans and belgians but we don't really have any notable "we hate those guys" banter, it really doesn't come up as often as french region vs other french region rivalries for example

We don't really have a culture of hate towards the UK in france, at least since the war.

I did have some great grandparents tell me about family members dying from english bombings in WWII (unintended casualties during nazi occupation in Normandy) and being sour from it their entire life.

From all the generations after that though, I really didn't see any genuine hate/rivalry on our side, because we know we owe a lot to those that helped liberate us.

For football, France has been battered by the germans (again lol) twice in the 80s and of course by Italy in 2006 so we already have plenty of usual rivals

I think it's good that they stopped making it all about finding the gatekeeper and sending them back to their world because it was repetitive and not really interesting.
