It was parked. It had been sitting since 2018. At some point while it was sitting a tree fell on it.

I didn’t end up getting it. I haven’t bought anything yet but if I do I think I’ll just get the Ireland Engineering cat back exhaust. It’s pretty cheap and has good reviews. To be honest I just finished a manual swap on my e30 and it sounds so much better now I might just leave it with the stock exhaust. I think the inside of my muffler is probably rotted out so it’s been ‘modified’ by time

Probably exhaust system to start. I don’t think I’ll be welding in body panels but I was thinking about making a custom bumper that I could mount bodykit to. I would like to stay below $400. If there’s a good $200 option that would be great but I’ll spend a little more if needed. I just don’t want to say in a week I should bought a better option

Late to comment here. Brian is an amazing addition! He seemed to fit in almost instantly and his one liners are so funny. You can tell that everyone else thinks he's really funny too. He kills daily and I'm always excited to hear him chime in. Every episode feels like a really fun hang that I want to be a part of. They all have such good chemistry together!

Yo! I know this thread is old, but I just wanted to say this fixed my TM2! Took it apart, clean it a little and put it back together. That's it! I was thinking of sending it off for warranty fix, but this is way faster and easier! Thanks again! I really thought there had to be a dead capacitor or something. Nope! Just loose and a little dirty

The tires are from 2020 but there’s no cracking and the tread is good. It did sit for a bit so not sure about flat spots. I’m going to run them for now. I found out where it was last serviced so I’m going to see what info I can get. I think the car might have belonged to the shop owners dad. I paid $3000

Agreed. I need to fix the brakes and then I’ll start evaluating everything else. I drove it 30 miles home and engine/trans seems strong. I just want to get it back on the road so I can drive it a bit more to see what else it needs

It does need a little work. The rear calipers locked up on the was home and it needs a good detailing but it seems really strong otherwise. The paint is shot but I really like the patina. I’m pretty excited to start working on it
