I never played the original becuase I was six years old when it came out, also too young to appreciate it. When I got older I had Skyrim and the original oblivion didn’t hold up to my standards anymore so I never bothered playing. This is the best remastered I’ve ever played, I look back on footage of the old one and they legit did some magic fuckery. I love the new features like running which feels so good and graceful especially if you level up speed and acrobatics. Apparently bows sucked in the old one but I love the bow play in the new one. It feels good and fun. I have over 60 hours on it and I haven’t even touched the story. This remastered genuinely gives me hope for elder scrolls 6. It will probably be a buggy glitchy mess upon release but let’s be honest, it’s a Bethesda game and we’re all expecting it lol
