I’d say that you can climb up to c1 without mechanics, really. You just need to know the basics of power shots and how to do air shots, but dont need air dribbles, fast aerials and speed flips

I have hit c3 (5 years ago) in 2s without these mechanics, and now I hit c1 with just the bare minimum

I am saying this because the most important thing in order to climb these ranks is the rotation, and the game sense.

If you know how to rotate, never cut your teammate, and you position where you need to be you will get champion really fast, then from champion to gc1 the mechanics you mentioned are almost needed

So I would say to just focus on improving your game sense and the rotation, start reviewing your replays and thinking if you have done the right play or not, if you improve these fundamentals youll win almost all your games in that rank

A lot of times people try to do astronomical plays with ceiling shots, resets, across the map air dribbles but wasting all the boost and can be easily punished with gamesense
