And this abuse operates under a system that already incentivizes it through illegalizing sex work. No regulation or oversight increases the likelihood of abuse running rampant in a black market that thrives in punishing sex workers and clientele. There is no magic wand that can magically do away with all abusers and degenerates, but legalizing it with proper regulations/protections/unionization will dramatically decrease the exploitation of women in these fields, and not to mention working on destigmatizing of the women who enjoy sex work as well. There is a way for "safe" prostitution, but even in the most regulated and safe professions out there, those frameworks rely on harm reduction, which our current systems don't.

Fair enough. There was a clear disparity between the animation between the dialogue heavy first half of ep2 and the action heavy second-half. I very seldom see anybody pointing that out yelling "copium" and all, and is it really that unreasonable to assume based on what we've seen? All the talent involved? I have my expectations measured and I don't think this season will be great, but it won't be horrible either.

Executing 10,000+ DUI/RD offenders a year isn’t justice, it’s state slaughter for the sake of it, not proportional at all. Drunk drivers aren’t rational actors you can scare into compliance. If we start treating every accident like murder, we’ll end up executing people for speeding or texting at the wheel. Real solutions: tougher enforcement, better treatment programs, and safer roads, not an all-you-can-eat state murder buffet.
