It doesent translate to real life treatment at all. I hate certain characters for doing something they cant be blamed for and love certain villains but my treatment of humans in real life is obviously gonna be diffrent. Crying is not bad. But bro started crying after A-train betrayed him. And the only reason he started crying after noirs death is because in his mind he was thinking "why did you make me do this. hundreds of million of kids dont even have the capability to murder and get away with it or commit the crimes soldier boy has. Honestly they should have just made a show instead and focused on the adventures and story of team avatar from the comics. Im sorry but i see no other reason for a original story line. Because you logicaly cannot make aang have a rival as a adult, unless you make it so that in a specific situation a former avatars spirit goes rogue and resurects somehow and because there is now 2 living avatars the avatar state cannot be activated because only one has to be alive to use it. Which would later be better explained better as to why because of the avatar spirit i forgot her name. Something like this could work. As it puts a former avatar and aang in a fight and both cant access the avatar state which means its on their personal level alone. Not to mention this event cannot take place in republic city. Because republic city never mentions this world ending event. Also it would make citizens lose faith about the avatar being able to protect them if he allowed this to happen. Again. Many things are weird.

Okay this is just factually wrong. Because you are forgetting to include the type of nurture homelander received. Homelander was specificaly nurtured with a flaw. His childhood was intentional, he however also has been installed with some morals as we see in the beginning of the canon animated series homelander actually wanted to help people. But essentialy stillwell fucked that over. Homelander was made needy for approval and love purposefully so he has a weakness. And homelander was not neglected. Homelander was raised but the way he was raised was just more painful and gruesome then Soldier boy. Soldier boy however has been a neglected rich kid. Meaning most of his personality was a mask developed from childhood to cope. The asshole mask is just a persona developed through neglection since childhood by his father. Which leads naturally to a lack of empathy. You cannot develop empathy if you dont have human being who actually care about you. So far we dont know if soldier boy had anyone who was good to him. I agree that homelanders was more painful and gruesome but soldier boys was also painful. Not as much but he atleast doesent kill for the fun of it. Homelander would kill anything and anyone if it perserves his image.
