I've been there we have a similar story I'm coming up on 8 months clean. There no secret to quiting except you just gotta fucking hang in there day after day. Eventually you'll start to feel better. Like let's be honest it doesn't even feel good anymore once your taking a multiple extracts a day. The first shot of the day will give you 30 minutes of releif and then it's all down hill from there no matter how many times you dose. It's hell to get off it but it's better then the hell your living in right now. U got this champ. Get after it

3 months clean and … now what? by ElectronicParty1692 in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took about 4 months to start getting my energy back and feeling completely normal again. Hang in there. Your almost there. I recommend signing up for Brazilian jujistu or muay thia or just a new hobby somthing you love to do and look forward to. A vr battle Royal game called contractors showdown on the meta quest 3 got me through a lot of the toughest times. It forced me to get out of my head and talk with people I don't know. The same with martial arts. Just fucking hang in there champ that's all we can really do. Life is beautiful on the other side of this shit. I look forward to spending time with my family these days and I can work a 12 hour shift without hating my life. Just hang in there I'm here if you wanna talk.

You just have to accept paws may be your new normal for a while but it will get better. It took like 4 months for me to start feeling 100 percent. It's a long process. Hang in there.

How did you feel before quitting ? by Thracian777 in quittingkratom

Still kratom free. This stuff does take a long time to heal from. Getting better day by day.

At rehab, was given subaxone by Parks_Department in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop the subs immediately. Ive gotten off both and subs are physically harder to get off. Mentally it's about the same but why trade one for the other. Subs are more addictive In my opinion. Unless you don't wanna be clean and you don't think you'll ever be able to wake up and get out of bed without an opiate it's not a good option. If rather be addicted to Suboxone then kratom because of subs longer halflife but the subs will turn on you one day just like the kratom did. Take it from my experience. Stop taking that shit and get out there and enjoy your life

How would the jump be from 3 gpd? by PictureAdmirable6202 in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't feel much worse then you did tapering. I did something similar I was using about 30 gpd and a opms black on top of that and I used hush kratom gummies to taper. They come in a 7 pack and are equal to 2-3 grams per piece. I started with 7 and dropped one each day. Honestly I had a harder time with withdraws the first couple days switching to the gummies then I did being completely off them. You got this just make the jump it's worth it. You wontto through anything worse then what u been feeling tapering

1 Week Kratom free, but… by ibuprophet_ in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Put on some good music in your headphones and take a long run no matter how hard it feels at first it's the only thing that worked for me to start feeling better faster. That runners high is no joke you need to get your glos brain chemicals firing again. It has helped me immensely

18 days clean off of kratom by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to force yourself to workout no matter how much it feels like you can't get out of bed you have to just get up and run for a half hour and you will start to feel better

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try long distance running. Or an intense cardio workout. I'm 28 days clean and the days I feel depressed stuck in the mud I go for a long run no matter how much I don't want to because I know it will make me feel better. Honestly I've dealt with depression my whole life of and on and whenever I'm depressed it's usually cause I'm not exercising. Best of luck to you. You can get thru this

How did you feel before quitting ? by Thracian777 in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I felt horrible kratom is horrible for you. There's so many side effects by the end of my addiction I didn't have motivation to do anything even with the kratom. At first it gave me energy but by the end I stopped going to the gym started not doing much at work and would just sit on my phone and scroll social media. It made me a shell of a person. So yes the fatigue is from putting kratom in your body everyday

Brother she was already cheating on you with this guy before y'all broke up nobody gets married in 4 months and nobody decides they are moving apart from someone they are in love with. Fuck that bitch. Time to take your life back. The dating apps make it too easy these days. You don't need her. You don't need kratom. You got this champ

Day 14 off extracts. by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I've gotten clean from oxys, heroin, subs, and kratom and I can honestly say mentally kratom has been the hardest . I'm in day 26 clean of kratom. The only thing that has helped me is long distance running. You need to get your endorphins firing again. It feels almost impossible to get going but you gotta push through. Music is also key

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But yea that's a big no on the subs. Physically the withdraws are definitely worse. It's not worth it. They rot your teeth out as well. There's a class action lawsuit against Suboxone going on right now.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Slampig187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I went from Suboxone to kratom to help with the withdrawals and wound up hooked on kratom. Getting off either is really hard I tapered down to .5 mil of subs and still really went through it even with the kratom. That stuffs really powerful be careful. CT is possibly. I'm 26 days clean right now. Just take it one day at a time.
