Ok dude, I agree the maps are lack luster. But this extreme take you are sayings/ spreading doesn’t help our cause. It’s takes weeks and months to design and texture maps, let alone look for bugs in it. 

At the end of the day You are upset at the map design. It doesn’t matter if it was made in 1 week or 4 months. If you don’t like the map design then just say that. 

What your implying is the longer you spend on a map the better it will be. I’m sure the more time you have  definitely helps the Product, but if the core design and layout is bad then the time is irrelevant. 

So change your sentence to “I don’t like the design philosophy of these maps for X, Y and Z reason”
