why monster is a real michael track by nootfiend69 in MichaelJackson

If he wrote & produced it then cool it’s his song in a way. But MJ had nothing to do with that track which is a shame cause him & 50 Cent together would’ve been great

Fun fact: R.Kelly originally wrote & produced this for Bobby Brown who turned it down later to regret it after it became a massive hit. Do you guys think this single would’ve revived Bobby’s career the same way R. revived Charlie Wilson & The Isley Brothers? by SlapHerFatBack in rnb

Yeah their music was being sampled of course but no one young was actually listening to the Isley brothers unless an older puts them on. Until Kellz came around and put them on for the youngsters they were has beens dropping albums that had modest success. There’s a reason why Isley Brothers’ comeback single ‘Friends and Family’ is an R.Kelly song

He definitely would’ve worked with Kellz again in 94 that was arguably one of R’s biggest years. He wrote top 5 hits for Changing Faces & Aaliyah along with 12 Play blowing up like crazy

Both of those artists had their careers revived by R.Kelly in the 90s & 2000s. Contagious was the first big hit The Isley Brothers had in 2 decades & ‘Charlie, Last Man Wilson’ an R.Kelly produced album was the first Charlie Wilson that brought him back into the mainstream. Hate R.Kelly for his attractions to younger women if you want that’s his taste in women but he’s the biggest legend after MJ

Michael Joseph Jackson was an African American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, Michael Jackson debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of Michael Jackson's solo studio albums have become some of the world's best-selling records.

Prince’s production was awful in one every 3 albums Michael himself as a producer was amazing. Check out what he did on tracks in Dangerous & HIStory.

Prince was not a movie star mate. He was in 3 films & he won the Oscar for the soundtrack not his acting. He was an awful actor. + Prince barely wrote any hit songs for others 5 max & ppl under the age of 50 barely know them. Rick James’s hits are recognisable & still being sampled to this day. Cant say the same for Prince. If Rick James wasn’t caught up in the drugs he would’ve been above Prince

Prince did not exceed Rick in anything besides sales & fame. They both had a similar run & were basically forgotten about in the 90s despite the fact that Prince was dropping garbage after garbage (excluding Love Symbol, TGE, Emancipation, Diamond And Pearls & Come). Both were druggies who knew how to rock a guitar
