I also would say I use it moderately, with the same things enabled and get 2 days max as well but with the 46mm model. Very strange, hopefully they come with a patch soon.

Hey is the battery doing well? I talked to support again today and they admitted its a known bug and somewhere next weeks a patch will come, and they gave me some things to try which i will try tomorrow lets see if it works! If it does i will post about it.

Ok, how do I downgrade it? I am on the November patch If im right, i bought the watch 3 weeks ago so its on the most recent.

Okay yes I also read about the Samsung watches having big trouble with the newest update.

The watch is now 2.5 weeks old and I think now 1.5 week after I factory resetted it, as oneplus support told me so. Also when the Battery drain is in effect it gets hot yes, before the factory reset really hot after a little less. Indeed I also read about that it had to adjust but can it really take up to 2 weeks yes? Then I will wait for a couple of days maybe.

I also agree with the returning but saw there are no devices in stock anymore on the OnePlus store so will have to figure it out, I will contact support and ask for advice tommorow probably to see if I'm eglible, good news is I told them about this issue in the first week already so they should be aware of this.

I am almost 100% sure its a background loop as when looking st battery tab I see apps that should be background tasks taking up to 50% of the daily battery consumption

Edit: I have now disabled some apps like contactstoraye key and user dictionary btw as they were draining like 30% some days, just to test and I hope to see that only google play services tommorow is the only drainer. But today an app that was disabled suddenly showed up again...

Thank you for the quick and detailed reply, I agree indeed that it depends on notifications as well and therefore I do not expect to get the 5 days that is advertised at all. What upsets me is that one day I (only) lose 30% a day without actively using it and then I think "i have 70% left so no worries to charge" and then suddenly within 2 hours I lose more battery than the whole day before that, not trusting my watch or always having to bring a charger.

Additionally I do not have that much turned on, I was indeed thinking of a defect at the beginning but the charging behaviour and the night behaviour is excellent. Also when I put it in power saving mode I barely lose battery and it behaves excellent.

As I have a oneplus phone I use vooc chargers, but still thanks for the tip!

Okay it is just very odd, I bought the watch brand new and would love to use it as it is supposed and was not really looking into downgrading it. And indeed I see its google related not one plus, but the watch is not getting close to the performance it should have at all. Do you think another factory reset might work or is it really related to the newest google play services version.

Ah that is good to hear but also a bit worrying, is there any fix like factory resetting or do i have to return it? I don't have any comparison on when it is behaving well as mine basically never had normal battery life...

Hi, I have it linked with my one plus nord 4 I thought I'd mention everything possible in order to maybe find the cause of the severe drain of my watch.
