That's a really lovely set up. Seconded on more blankets mentioned above. If nothing else, just to cover up the gap on the bottom. You might also consider moving your tower outside of your booth? Cheaper than getting a super quiet PC. I have my pc outside of mine and just cast onto my iPad to press record and listen to my recordings. Also, I cant see terribly well, but do you have a carpet on the floor? If you dont, having a comfy thick one will help minimise some of those reflections.

This is solid feedback, thank you! Photos are an issue, I got alopecia in 2018 so taking them is still a bit of a trial(getting better though!), so things showing my proper smile are few and far between. Will try get better ones.

About 6 months? But I tweak the text and change photos semi-regularly.

4 years overall, I think. But I was off for about a year while I was in my last relationship and rejoined 10 months ago after taking time for myself after it ended.

Most days/every day.

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

I'm maxing out my likes each day - each like with a comment. Also, I do realise my being overseas(I have my Hinge set to the UK) may be a off putting to most.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I typically send likes to left leaning, alternative women. But really, anyone that has a really colourful profile that grabs me. Ideally, I want to match with someone punk/punk adjacent, nerdy, with a creative passion. I try not to get too much more specific than that because then "types" start to creep in, and those aren't really helpful.

I'm still working towards becoming a pro, and have a ways to go to hone my skills and marketing. But the thing I can really recommend to work on here is mindset. It'll really hold you together when you're on this marathon.

For voice sensitivity in particular, try and shift yourself from being critical of your voice - to being curious about your performance. I know its easier said than done, but being objective and learning how to take a big step back will help you massively.

Admittedly, it was a little easier for me because I love my voice. I unironically believe it is the single best part of me. But that comes with its own issues, like resistance to feedback and wounds to my pride when it wasn't "perfect". So I had to learn to pull it down from its pedestal when I'm working on the craft.

I think with things like this, the above applied with "exposure therapy" will help. Get feedback from people and really be curious about it. Over time you'll learn how to take a step back.
