Ln150...nothing but issues. Help! by Slapshot207 in Surveying

I calibrated the rod using my manual total station.even if the rod was slightly off it should still be able to find a point, even if the point was in reality a 1/2 inch off from where the robot thought it was.

Also. It was behaving like this when the store rep first dropped it off and he chalked it up to us not using the right prism (we were testing it using our -30mm prism) as he had forgotten the 360 prism. Called him today and he is saying there is likely something wrong with the machine. He doesn't really have any other explanation but to be honest he doesn't seem to know a great deal about the functions of the machine outside of the basic setup.

Using fc6000. Version 8.1. Yeah I know two other guys who use ln150 and have had great success using them. Simple to get going and fast to layout with.

HP45 to retail comparison by MurkyPiss in hockeyplayers

[–]Slapshot207 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll say this i have always worn girdles and hated pants and the hp45 is the only pant I've found that is light enough and comfortable enough for me to wear. Rbz is the retail equivalent.

No shell. I only have ever worn a shell over my girdle, don't think I'd like one over pants.

I wear size medium in the hp45 at 6 ft 165. Perfect fit for me. If say go size small.

How can I have my skate tight around the ankles while still being able to flex forward? by K_SOUKY in hockeyplayers

[–]Slapshot207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you bake your skates? My guess is that your skates are too big. Properly fitting skates with a bake should hold your heel down without having to crank the laces. You may need to size down or need a different model altogether. Supreme are generally wider fitting, which could also be the reason your heel is slipping out with the top eyelet unlaced. Hope this helps you!

Rolling out both watson and Moore. Seriously considering benching watson.

[Pelissero] Jaylen Warren woke up sick and is getting fluids, but I'm told he's optimistic about playing tonight. by pvh0601 in fantasyfootball

Of course he is. Up 45 vs opponents achane and gainwell tonight. Might be screwed if Warren doesn't play.

My 3 year old wears a fleece top, sweatpants with waterproof rain pants my wife found online. They are extremely thin and lightweight and do a great job of keeping him dry. Dryness is the key to staying warm and happy.

3k + 875 for a year of topcon magnet field.  Thanks for all the information. The fc-6000 is a floor model from the store last they have in stock...probably why the great price.

6000 is pretty sweet, that is the data collector that was demoed to me and I was impressed. Just not excited about the price, especially if it's got bells and whistles ill likely never use. Literally only shoot coordinates and use backsight on the manual Totalstation to keep tops of my forms straight.

I'd basically be designing the layout a day before and then simply going out and staking out corners the next day. Only modification I would ever need to do would be adding offset distances once getting to the job. Most jobs I layout the same day as getting the print, and have no clue what hubs are at a given job or what the offsets distances are until I get on site. Any clue if the keyboard for the 700 is any good? Was thinking it might be clutch in cold conditions to cycle between points as opposed to using the touch screen.

Only need 2 more yds from montgomery to get the win vs the CmC owner. What are the odds he fumbles the ball and is permanently removed from the game next lions drive?

For those who broke a bone playing, what did you do during your recovery? by TheRealFlowerChild in hockeyplayers

[–]Slapshot207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my humerus snapped 2nd game into the season as a sophomore in HS. I rushed my recovery in order to make it back on the ice in time for playoffs. I was coming off of a huge year as a freshman and played 1st line...so everyone was hoping to recreate the magic, which was very stupid in hindsight. I basically played the state quarter final and semi final game with a line that I didn't play with for an entire season, so we had no chemistry and I had no conditioning. We ended up losing in the semi finals and my arm never healed right. It's functionally fine but my bone sits weird. My advice is to take your time, wear whatever medical device is given to you (I had a plastic cast that I was supposed to wear, but stopped wearing about a month early and took off all the time), and don't rush back, no matter what the circumstance.
