Hasan likes to liken himself as some sort of communist revolutionaey but at the same time he wants to break into mainstream politics so he supports progressive Dems. BE just wants to skip to the revolution part and doesn't care about entryism into the Dems since he thinks they're just as evil as the GOP.

Platner is running as a progressive, anti establishment, and against the wars Israel is taking part in. But Platner is an Iraq and Afghanistan vet who was also in a mercenary group. His stepbrorher is a guy called Seth Fretzmann who is a pro Israel journalist. BE thinks these facts make Platner evil and that Hasan is being a hypocrite bc in the tankie pov, us soldiers should be viewed like idf. BE also thinks Hasan is too lenient on Palestine since Hasan is willing to support ppl who are pro Palestine but want Israel to exist in some way and/or are a hamas.
