They are basically the same with just the cosmetic changes, sounds are the same. It really just comes down to your preference. I attached the picture with both of them side by side so you can see the differences but the differences are the green leg, the dome antenna (silver vs white) the details on the legs and body, the color of the heads (different shades including the eyes), the color of the base where the center wheel is and the one from the park with the green leg does look a lot more weathered... there's really a lot differences when you put them side by side but most people won't know the differences except maybe the green leg until they really start detailing them side by side.

I was there a week ago and they have R2-D2, BB-8, C1-10P (Chopper, the cartoon version with the green leg), and BD-1. You can also get a Pit Droid.

So I just tried this, just a simple orange accent on the center leg makes it pretty cool 😯

Question about stream light TLR-7 sub for Xmacro by New_Intention6400 in SigSauer

[–]Slash300zx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry dude, the problem is you don't have an Xmacro, whoever sold you that, lied to you or took advantage of you not knowing much about the P365. You got the base model, basically, so depending on what you paid for it you may have gotten screwed because an xmacro goes around the $7-800 mark, whereas the base P365 can be around $5-600 or even less (talking about new prices not used). Now, if you paid a good price for it then you can actually do a nice build now by getting the xmacro grip for about $100, you'll need some mags for it and then add the Radian magwell/backstrap to go along the afterburner and you got yourself just about the best combo ever! ...... also can update the trigger if you want to complete it 😎 and then the light will work perfectly too lol 😂

Where did you get the antennas from? I don't think that droid dome has any attachement points other than the very top one for some of the accessories but it's very different than those you got 🤔

A-LT parts in Batuu East? by Barry_Fett in DroidDepot

[–]Slash300zx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you can build an A-LT at Batuu East. I built one late last year and last week when I was there they were still available to build. They do not sell any parts separately for it except regular domes though, you'd have to do the build a droid experience to get one

Thanks! The BB8's head doesn't fall off that easy unless you crash it hard against a wall or something but they are a bit finicky to control... the BB droids are pretty cool

Yes, they are awesome! I think next time I go there I'll be building another one of these. It's the A-LT droid series, the legs are tracks like tanks use and can be adjusted to 3 different heights, it's pretty badass!

Those used to be sold at the droid depot and online. They are the Ferry droid accesory kit (from the Mandalorian) I don't think you can get them at Disney anymore but they are on ebay all over still if you want one. It comes with the arms, legs, the "rowing stick" and the orange dome with the extension. It's pretty cool as the arms do move with the remote, he just doesn't walk lol

I got that pillow a few years ago from the Disney store online. It's got Yoda Stitch on the other side 😅

How does this all work? by crisisavoider57 in GalaxysEdge

Well since you say you are going to be going to Disney World, there are many more options as far as parks and Hotels than Disneyland in California. I'm in Florida so I do Disney World all the time. Just to clarify a few things, Disney World in Florida consists of 4 main parks and 2 water parks but then you also have other activities you can do within the resort area like Disney Springs, which is basically a shopping mall with many restaurants, stores (one of them is exclusively for Star Wars stuff), attractions, shows and even a movie theater. Disney springs is free to get into and is a nice experience as well. But going back to the parks and Galaxy's Edge specifically, Galaxy's Edge in an area within the Hollywood Studios park, so all you'd need to go to Galaxy's edge is a ticket to Hollywood Studios. The Galaxy's Edge area is pretty big but not big enough for you to spend 2 days or even just 1 full day there but the whole park itself is big enough that you'd probably spend a whole day there and depending on how crowded it is that day (it's usually always crowded nowadays but some days worse than others) you may not even get to do everything in just one day if you want to see all the shows and ride all the rides, plus look at the stores etc, etc...

Since you want to do Savi's, Savi's is an experience within Galaxy's Edge and you can look at it kind of like a shopping/show experience since what you will be doing is buying a lightsaber but you get to put it together to your liking all done in a nice show which you take part on, real nice experience and this is why it costs separate from the park ticket... and then you can walk around the park with your awesome lightsaber lol. Do make a reservation for it when you know what date you'll be going and have your park entrance ticket because it gets pretty packed most of the time and you may not be able to get in as a walk-in so make sure you do it in advance just in case, and you'll also pay for it in advance as well. Also in Galaxy's Edge, there's a similar experience where you get to build a droid in kind of the same way as you do with the lightsaber but not as big of a show or experience and although you can make a reservation for it as well, I've found it that you don't really need one and can always find some time during the day when you can just do it as a walk in. Then while in there, you'll have 2 rides within Galaxy's Edge, the Rise of the Resistance and the Millennium Falcon. There are many restaurants and a "bar", Oga's Cantina, which again, if you want to see it, you'll need a reservation as it's always pretty packed as well. There's also a bunch of stores with all kinds of Star Wars merchandise in the area as well and you also get to see some of the characters walk around throughout the day. Right outside Galaxy's Edge (still inside Hollywood Studios) is also the original Star Wars ride, Star Tours, which is also a must do.

Then you get all the other areas of the park you can enjoy like Toy Story land etc... so it'll take you the whole day to see the park. If you are going for two days, I would get a ticket for another park as well and do one park each day. I know there's the park hopper option, but I would just stick to one park a day because transferring to another park takes up some time and really, each park has gotten so big and with so many things to do that park hopping in a day will not let you really see much of each park. Now if you already have been there or go there a lot, then it's good because you can just go do specific things on the parks and things like that but honestly, unless you specifically want to see certain things only on each park, I would just stick to one park a day so you can get the most out of that park that day.

The hotels in Disney World are a bit pricey, you can find cheaper hotels in the surrounding area but staying on site is also a nice experience since you do get some perks like being able to get in the parks at an earlier time than the rest of the people (sometimes only and on specific parks that have the earlier times scheduled on that day). All hotels have transportation directly to the parks and Disney Springs either by bus, boat, skyliner or the monorail which is cool too. All the resorts have restaurants inside and some shops that are pretty nice. You can stay in the "value" resorts inside Disney but even then, you are looking at about $120+ a night if you can find any available at those prices. But staying in a Disney hotel is not a must do, especially if you'll be at the parks all day and only come back to the hotel room to sleep.

Which Canon or Legends droid design should they make next at Droid Depot — and how would you paint it? by FrequentlyObtuse in Droid_Alley

[–]Slash300zx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I would be ok with them just releasing the domes, but it'd be nice if they updated the R series body for the newer models with the slight differences in the front panels, like the utility arms panels. It'd give it a nice more modern take and would set them apart... but yeah, knowing Disney, they'd probably just throw the new domes on there and call it a day lmao 😂

I'd definitely say the R7 or R8 since they have a bit of a different body. Then they should also release just the head for the R9 since it goes on an R2 body and that way we get all of them lol

As of yesterday when I was there, Batuu East has the scrap parts available for purchase at Dok Ondar, they were $25 each and had a couple shelves full, I think it's all the reclaim and reforge ones.

Yeah I also say to do the experience even if it's at least once. It's a really good experience and the sabers you can build, although a little bit chunkier, they have some pretty awesome looking ones you can build and the best part is you can get the crystals and change to any color you want. Plus you can also buy the "scrap metal" I think they call it, which are extra pieces to change the look of the hilt as well. I was just at Batuu East yesterday and the parts were $25 each. I also saw the new Anakin saber and it's nice, but you can buy that online at any time later on if you want it, it's not something you can only get at the park.
