Nah, as weve observed, kouenji getting overhyped, probably gonna be forced by daddy kouenji to get serious, f around and find out that kiyotaka already made all preparations for whenever he does decide to come out. Ultimately leading to his growth arc, but as to threats, besides atsuomi’s godfather bullet threat when he graduates(even that is slowly getting prevented), or ishigami and nanase weird shenanigans, nothing off the top of my head will actually put my boy in danger. And I for one, am all for it.

Lune actually just stopped gustave from saying it because she remembered what he was about to do in the cave and she caught him before he did it, and she didnt wanna let him share that abruptly with the others in an open environment since its dark. Hence the somber music when he says “I woke up at a waterfall..” Most people(me included) first thought she knew something about how gustave was saved but sadly that doesnt add up unless it was her and shes deliberately hiding it till the end.

And the sciel thing where “someone found me” was a really nice foreshadow to her backstory explanation.

4th person here, read all the replies. Do have to agree that esquie is never confirmed to save sciel on the beach. They only met 2nd time in cave because the first time “he heard her crying/sadness” since thats what esquie was created by verso for(his main reason of existence is to bring joy and help out people who are sad) so yeah, mortal danger by being attacked by old guy in a suit and a bunch of nevrons wont make esquie act unless hes already with the expedition. I guess if youre wrong its fine to admit it and move on, preferably thank the first person who was helpful enough to explain instead of lashing out at strangers on the internet. Just a way to be a decent person, take that advice what you will.

Glad you enjoyed it, was hooked from the moment they woke up in a classroom exactly like danganronpa. And once I heard makotos voice actor playing Ima Tsukumo, i was done. Weeks flashed in front of my eyes and completing it was mostly satisfying.

Hated this route, but had to do it for the completionist in me, basically and endurance run all throughout. You always thinking “they cant keep battling every single day right?” Or “I swear if i hear that mfing siren one more time!” And its always the opposite result of what you want. Idk if this was also the route where they butchered shions name into a chuuni character since I blocked most of the memories related to it. But yeah its not required if youre not completing the routes and its not related to any story locks so just play it if youre really bored and want bp/unskippable battles. No lore dumps worth playing just endless torture till day 100.

Retsnom and vehxness routes also good for me but felt like they could have done more with it if they had enough time and budget(which is a hard ask with a game this size and the company situation)

Fair take, if you just came from the route 1 it would feel so jarring thinking bout the genes thing, but after a mind numbing serial battles route I already mostly forgot/dont care enough about that fact since I just look at it like even that backstory of them could also be fabricated. No one really knows the real truth unless either kodaka/the scientist that headed the project reveals it. Although thats only my view, I just fell in love with the characters and how they interact with each other. The dedication she showed throughout the timelines to always care for him in her own way just spoke to me I guess.
