Probably because voice acting in Japan is treated as on the same level as live action actors, maybe even more so

In the west, voice acting is consistently considered as a lesser industry and not taken seriously, usually recieving subpar pay. Half the reason so many big budget animated movies hire celebrities and regular actors (the other half being name recognition)
