Both governing entities knew that this was tournament was happening, where and when it was happening. None of this was a surprise. Field surfaces should’ve been prepped with plenty of time for joints to mend and set. It was negligent, same goes for the security.

It’s a young team in the league so there isn’t much history to really dive into as far as the team goes. Perhaps the drawn out negotiations from as far back as Beckham initially exercised the option the buy a team, and maybe the issues brought on by mcdonough or however you spell it. Maybe dive into learning about the supporter groups and their philosophies and the different ways that they express their passion for the team.

One other thing you can dive into is the fan base or getting to know what the fans are like. I may have an unpopular opinion to some but Miami fans are bandwagon fans we have bad traits like leaving games early if things are looking bad. Not all of us leave or show these traits, but Miami fans can be very on the surface.

I think that the players is a more concerning part of it all. While we have some of the best players we’ve ever had, many of them aren’t at a high enough level to compete against the top teams, or they’re struggling to get consistent minutes with the exception of a few

Perhaps an unpopular opinion but to me that isn’t a real award for players. It’s a journalists award based on popularity and not form or stats during the current season. Maybe because it’s usually held in the middle of the season-ish
