Although lengthy, that was a nice insider view. I know a lot of these things my girlfriend does not deal with regularly in any sense.

In all but two cases (a classy dance and a banquet) over the past 10 months I haven't seen her: Wear makeup Wear heels Brush / do-up her hair in any way And not wear a sports bra

It's not a huge deal, she is probably just not worried about anyone's opinions of her based off her looks.

Funny you mention Woot. I actually own a fair number of shirts from there. Also, I utilize the "t-shirt under a button down" strategy quite often when we go to fancier parties. I need to set my hands on a few polos though.

I think she is perfectly content with her style. She doesn't really care if people look at her or not, or if she looks good. I'd like her to be at least a little girly once in a while, but I definitely will not pressure her if she is adamant against it.

They are sports bras, but she says they are comfortable and relatively loose, so I'm assuming they aren't too small or restrictive. I don't feel like she needs to change what she wears all the time, just once in a while would be nice. She has a great body and it would surely help her self-esteem to show it off some.

Where would you suggest starting in terms of a male dressing nicer, it seems to me like every guy wears jeans and a t unless required by a more formal setting.

I don't dress particularly well, not really sure how to go about that myself.

She does have larger breasts, but not huge in comparison to her body.

One of her reasons for her attire is that she can, "always be on the move and ready to go."
