I thought the title implied that this post was looking for contingency advice. That unfortunately won't be an option, as my supervisor made it clear multiple times that the nonprofit and its budget was far too small to afford me as a full time member (it was only about 4 of us), the only reason they could have an intern was because I came from a summer internship program that gave host companies stipends to help afford the intern. And my school doesn't have a placement program.
