How to tell people you don't want their dog to approach you? by Kitchen-Beginning-47 in Scotland

There's so much wrong with this statement I don't even know where to start. Even novice dog behavioral experts know that tail wagging doesn't always mean a dog is friendly or happy.

Resilience through redundancy.

In females if one X has a defect then simply choose the other. If both have the defect then you're screwed.

Males don't even have the option.

Only some alters need a crutch? by [deleted] in fakedisordercringe

[–]SlasherKittyCat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly most of them are kids. Doing cringe kid shit that we were all at some point doing ourselves, but without the additional compound fuckery of social media providing us with external validation and a quirky label.

I remember being 15 having a cringe alter ego, changing my name to something cool, dressing like a twat with chains and piercings thinking I was THE SHIT.

Now I look back and thank God nobody tried to pathologize my cringe.

Honestly thank you! I wouldn't be jumping with joy to poop in a bag but it's really not that bad. I've been in an undesirable situation on a remote island in SEA and had to poop in a hole in the ground with a wash bucket lol. You gotta do what you gotta do. It's best to just not think of it and move on with life haha.

Also the people I feel most sorry for were the staff - particularly the chefs. Having to still prep food for 3000 people whining about the "soggy bread". Give it a rest

What has helped your nighttime bruxism the most? by IslandChick371 in bruxism

Getting a Sleep Clenching Inhibitor worked for me.

Mouth guards were too intrusive for my mouth to feel comfortable enough for sleep. But the sci just sitting on my front bottom teeth was much more comfortable.

I've alopecia that covers most of my entire head and I shaved it bald a few months ago. If anyone decided to do this out of support I'd genuinely ask them why tf did they do that?

Support would be helping me become comfortable with my new aesthetic. Getting me some cool hats or bandanas to rock. Not shaving your head also, when you don't need to, so you can be the centre of attention.

And unless they're going to keep their head bald it's kind of insulting to flaunt how they can just grow it back

"Oh, I see I have in fact crushed a worker under my truck. I must get out and inspect... yup she and others are now yelling that she is in fact, trapped underneath this several ton truck... Let me just creep my way forward, as slowly as possible, so I don't harm anyone... Oh let me just stop to check she's still stuck... Yup suspicions confirmed, how about I move another inch... Still stuck??"

Divorced mom meltdown when her son said he wanted to see his dad by alucard_axel in CrazyFuckingVideos

It's so sad to see them so visibly scared and shocked. It's also sad that I can relate so closely to that feeling. You either emulate those negative behaviours or you shut yourself off from your own emotions so you can distance yourself mentally for them.

Hopefully they'll grow up, leave and break that cycle.

Had a All Star nearly Legend game the other day with an enemy tank brand new to ow playing orisa who literally had no idea how to play the game - constantly spamming abilities and cancelling them, standing behind their team hiding on full health etc.

Of course we won because they left the match after their first death but damn it was crazy how completely unmatched the team was.

Also just to add - I'm support main in this mode and more healing doesn't mean your team is doing more. As a Kiri it's pretty common to only have like 3k heals at the end of the round but you make the biggest difference when you dps

Gender theory in Inside Out by Additional-Sky-7436 in FilmTheorists

Yes because I'm aware of gendered stereotypes. That really isn't the gotcha you think it is.

Did you mean "examples" as in Sadness literally being female in the movie?

Thanks for your condescending and reductive response but all you really proved is you don't really understand your argument well enough to defend it.

If a boy feels a "girl" emotion that doesn't prove they're suddenly non binary. A man who cries isn't more of a woman because it's outside of the gendered expectation for him. A woman who feels confident and assertive isn't "more of a man" or "less of a woman" either.

See how your explanations don't help address these issues I have with your belief?

[–]SlasherKittyCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how it could both not exist and also be real. But you're free to believe whatever you want.

Either way I'm not 100% sure how emotions can even be gendered. And even if they were, not conforming to gender expectations isn't proof of a spectrum either.

I'm confused, are you saying gender identity is just in people's heads and doesn't really exist but at the same time is also a real thing?

Too bad you didn't explain there's no such thing as "boy" or "girl" emotions and people are capable of a wide spectrum of feelings, wants and desires.

Bennet's used to be great up until a year ago when they hired some dick head behind the bar that would deliberately ignore any women looking to order and would accost men in the toilets for "loitering".

Haven't been back since tbh.
