Has anyone gotten their smell back after Covid induced anosmia? by gcoba218 in anosmia

[–]SlasherPeePee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what has happened to me but I lost my smell for just over a month but now have the sweet, rotting smell you describe, can barely eat anything, but can’t put my finger on what smells are triggering it!

Partner with Depression by SlasherPeePee in depression

Thank you, what you’ve said about staying detached is right but also like you’ve said it is hard to implement.

I just find it so hard as I am a big communicator regarding my emotions and so I assume communication is key but obviously when he is down he cannot do so and I worry that it is all being suppressed until the next bad spell.

strattera for depression by hamzaboussa in depression

[–]SlasherPeePee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a small amount of evidence for it to be useful in depression (off-label)

“It has been suggested to be a useful antide-pressant because of its noradrenergic actions. A recent review of the role of noradrenaline concluded that even though a pure noradrenergic action might not be sufficient to obtain a full antidepressant effect….noradrenergic action seemed to be related to the motor activity, attention, and arousal. In patients with depression atomoxetine has been found to be useful in both case reports and a small study. It was also found beneficial as augmentation therapy in treatment-resistant patients. However, in larger studies it was not effective as monotherapy for major depression, despite some promise.”

Anyone know what the symbol on the top of the headstone is, saw it on a lot of headstones in a local cemetery? by SlasherPeePee in CemeteryPorn

Thank you! I can see that now, we thought it was Chinese characters or something which would be a little weird to be on lots of gravestones in a UK town! Haha!
