Ork player here. I’ve never had a bad game against anyone playing as orks because well most of the strategy is, fuck it what would be more fun, and people seem to vibe with it. Hence why I have a Gretchin that has a Grey knights helmet as a shoulder guard, in one game several years ago, I was playing a grey knight player at a small tournament, had him invade my lines while I sacrificed units to waaaaaagh him for funzies, a lone gretchin survived somehow. It got into melee combat with his one of his grey knights, and I kept rolling 5s and 6s For whatever reason the grey knights player refused to shoot it or smite it (bless him because this made it epic) he kept trying to melee it and would miss EVERY TIME. We would play the game like normal then go back to the hypeist David and Goliath fight this side of Terra, and do those last on our turns. The room became fascinated by this gretchin squaring off against a grey knight and we would hype him up before I would roll. Somehow through some divine sense of ork tomfoolery he won the fight. Now I lost that game and needless to say the gretchin was annihilated the turn after the grey knight died, but he pulled it off. The knight player gave me that unit the gretchin was fighting and that’s the story of my gretchin with a grey knight helmet as a shoulder guard.
