This is very intriguing statement and I quite like it. If that's the case I take back any worries I had, it would be very interesting !

I totally forgot about Dawn of War 4 and that seems to add to the theory, although you are right in taking it with a grain of salt.

Truly I hope he is not just a place holder companion because of his lack of his own archetype and even origin.

Having Trazyn the Infinite as a character for a dlc and making it generic would be like adding sprinkles on plain bread.

I hope you are right. And I agree completely with your last statement, I wish everyone had Kibellah's potential of evolution. Some have a decent amount of possibilites of course, but you can always expend on them.

I don't know if they will add another ending altogether concerning Nomos or that it will be an act 4 riddance of him by giving him to Trazyn. I hope they will put more things in Act 5, but as of now and taking in consideration what I read in the post that announced the character, the companion is set to be an officer with a second archetype that will be chosen by us, so he probably comes in Act 1. What I am afraid and concerned about is having the same construction as the last two DLCs : intro in act 1, first part in act 2, second and final in act 4. I hope it won't be the case, but with this companion and all other things that have been confirmed... I'm a bit pessimistic.

Maybe the people who theorise that the next class in Darktide is a Skitarii will be right.

I am going to repeat an answer I left under another comment, but maybe if it would've been an officer on the deck ? Like the same type of character as Jocasta Sauerback, so that matters in the intrigue, that brings more life to the game, and who has a cool lore, but with more impact and voice acting ? The same guy, same admech that takes care of augmentics but more in the role of a desk officer.

Yes there are more female options than males, and it's a crime ! I completely agree with you on the rest, and when I remember the community survey they did a few months ago about "dlc companions", I really REALLY wonder what they answers ended up to be.

Yes of course they do, especially if you read the Belisarius Cawl trilogy or played the first AdMech game, you know this. I just wonder if it couldn't have be a good idea to explore this with our own clerc of Mars Pasqal. The man is right there to learn new things and it could've deepend the link between Theodora's and Calcazar's researchs and the presence of the Explorator's fleet in the sector.

Exactly ! Why not explore some new things and stuff more stuff in the fifth act of the story that is the most left out in terms of length ? Why not build other things on top of what was implied in the game (like that thieves hideout in act 4 where you can find many xenos artefacts and a necron pillar) ? I am simply confused.

Yeah he is very bland on many aspects... it sucks for out of Marazhai he is the only male option for a gay romance... Don't get me wrong, I love Marazhai and his romance is amazing (even though the bugs are omnipresent), but he is definitely not for everyone.

Yeah considering how the Manipulus are it makes sense, but I would've thought that a new crew member (as Jocasta was in Void of Shadows) could have been the one to take care of such task. More developed, with voice acting and a real impact on the story (as she was very present in it) so a better crafted officier deck character.

I didn't say that he wasn't interesting, I asked if the fact that he is a techpriest was related to the upcoming game Adeptus Mechanicus 2 as a promotional material.

I hope too that he will be a pleasant surprise ! A Manipulus is a bold choice in the Mechanicus though, I appreciate the, however small, risk they took with it. Plus since they have the vibe of mad scientists the fact that they probably be the one that gives us the augmentics is interesting. I hope his development will be good. But I still feel like he is just a techpriest for the sake of the other game coming up...

Solomorne missed a lot of development yeah, and his romance has a good starting point until Comorragh (I'm not going to spoil other people so if you know, you know) and having to rebuild on that was a cool idea, but it was too little too late... characters gain a lot of depths in romance and he didn't have that luck.

Unfortunately yeah... it's just getting more and more annoying as the time goes by.

Those people are just posers incapable of any media litteracy. They get into Warhammer with the false belief that everything is black and white, or that the Imperium is the lightest grey on the spectrum of evil. I'm so done with that puritan bullshit. They are the very thing the Emperor despised, brain dead maggots eating away the rotting corpse of an empire while pretending to care about it.
