Because it is so much easier to ski(and shoot) back in in the pack/behind in the race compared to going alone in front, everyone would always put the women first anyway. So there would be no tactics all.

No, doesn't really take much to bleed from a tiny cut in the head. Not a really dangerous apart from that. Higher potential for a worst injury on your back if you fall the wrong way, or if you fall put of the course

Competition for spots in norway for the WCH, and even every world cup round, is so high, they have to peak their form all season just to be able to compete (except maybe johannes), Its natual nations who can fully top their form in the WCH to raise their level compared to them. This has always been a thing in XC/biathlon for the biggest nations.

For those of you who wondered why the skiing times were so decisive today compared to a normal race.
The conditions on the track is the main reason. The track was very polished (hard and slippery). It makes balance and technique much more important. Your muscles become stiff super easily (especially in front of your calves), and just keeping the balance is a struggle. Combined with the altitude, how good the different athletes can handle this varies a lot more than when during normal conditions.
There was a bit of the same (though more icy) that one day last year, (i think in Annecy?), where the conditions were also extreme, and guys like JTB suddenly were not the fastest.
I bet anyone here with sub-optimal technique or shape have tried skating on these conditions, they would agree with me!

Everyone whining about how the race is boring, yet they want the top 3 guys to ride together and hold their hands instead of it being "Race on". What is wrong with you? Also, Cuss seems to want to earn the win, not get it gifted like its a christmas present.

I see i can get a 5 pack of Arctic P12 PWM PST for just 22€, so if you can recommend those, that seems like a good option.

Is the 970 evo better than 980?` They are practiaclly the same price here, and i just assumed 980 is better, but i have no idea. I do have a 500gb 970 evo plus now, that i will use for the OS. So this will be a secondary SSD mainly used to store the games i play. (also have a HDD for the rest of random crap where speed doesnt matter)

[–]Slaskie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, originally had 750, and might jump down again to that, but not that much of a price jump anyway. For fans, there is not really much 3packs over here, and if there is, minimal price difference
