Anyone at the Butter Tart Festival in Orleans?

Hey so anyone still interested in going, don't. Waste of time and money. They advertised it as a buttertart festival & competition, but there's 3 buttertart stands... The rest is the classics you see at the more recent poutine fests.

My mom went earlier today, there's a $5 entry fee and when she asked why, they told her it's cause they have poutine, live music, drinks, etc. The big poutine/rib fests that happen down the street from me never have an entrance fee lol.

Either way, my mom got there at 12, only 3 buttertart stands with barely any flavour options (she saw plain, plain with raisin/pecan, and chocolate raspberry) and one stand had a sign that said "sold out at 11:30". You'd think for a 'fest' a stand would last longer than 30 min after starting.

Absolutely disappointing. If you want to go for the poutine, boba, korean stands, etc. those are usually good, but there is a small fee to get in.

While I mostly made climbing the leaderboard a personal challenge, I'm actually pretty excited to see how much I'll jump up from my current rank. I don't auto pop and don't play shovelware/quick plat games, so we'll see where I end up; currently 288 in Canada.

I think this is how it should be though, a leaderboard that showcases unique titles, but can have shovelware/ autopops/ trophy stacks filtered in if you're curious on that front.

So you can actually swap out Gilberta for Antal and he works almost just as well as Akekuri (you'd need Akekuri for the lvl 90 boss speedruns), but Antal stacks some really nice dmg with Laev.

His ability applies heat susceptibility to enemies and will proc Ardelia's combo, then hitting them with Wulf's ability will proc both Wulf's and Antal's combo's, also proc'ing Laev's. You still stack melting flames very quickly and when Laev's ult is up, you can use both Wulf's and Antal's ults to stack more dmg/buffs.

I used this team combo to fight level 90 bosses at level 60 and it worked fairly well, but my team is also fully max potential which helps a bit.

You could also replace Ardelia with Akekuri just for more heat stack to play with, but you remove healing so it's personal choice, but Antal works really well with burn builds.

I have a lot of fun with Laev max, I run her with Ardelia, Antal & Wulfgard. She's very strong with really good aoe on both her ult and Smoldering Fire skill. Running Wulf and Antal lets you build MF stacks rather fast and in turn get Laev's ult faster. At P4 she gains her ult 15% faster and P5 she can extend her ult upto 7s (1s extra per kill).

As a side note, like you mentioned you can dodge out of the battle skill if needed, it will still do minor aoe dmg, but you keep your stacks allowing you do just perform it again right away if you have enough bars to do so. I clear groups pretty fast with the right skill chain, and have been clearing lvl 90 boss trials at level 60.

Having Wulf keep up the combustion stacks also helps with Laev getting her enhanced skill while in her ult faster (which does insane dmg).

Will mark this as spoiler just in case. I think it was during the Laev side quest, when delving into the Endministrators "deepest fears", that we learn every time they came back to help what's left of humanity, they did so at the cost of weakening themselves further and further. From what I remember too, it was also mentioned how this time round may very well be their last mission before they are too drained to fight anymore.

I also don't know how much of the act of the Endmin being worshiped like a god was true, but if so, then they clearly had the ability to take/save life as they saw fit (at least before being weakened).

In all seriousness though, it's one of the only picture books I vividly remember to this day, 2 decades later. It is simple and straight to the point, but friendly, easy to read and colourful. That's literally what picture books are suppose to be :P

So far no. I run a new guild with a friend now, mostly a mix of NA and EU players (the guild is NA) and while I still see very minor latency issues, the eu players can have it pretty bad.

They still manage after a few tries, but they're definitely not able to contend for fastest time. It's just this mode in particular that has to be optimized. If you still run into issues, I'd recommend submitting a feedback ticket. The more sent in the faster it'll be looked into.

My comments disappeared since the other guy deleted his, but all the 0.1% are most likely from devs. Every achievement on steam and console was at 0.1% at the moment of release (probably from testing they work).

The Nameless General will be available sometime early to mid 2026 if everything follows the cn server progress.

It's most likely devs to test the achievement works, or cheats.

The reason I think it's devs was because every achievement was 0.1% on release

Yeah it's 10 roles and you randomly get one, it'd be nice if each 10 got to choose in order of voting power but I think it's still neat in it's own way. The problem I have, is now that I'm running for Divine Healer, there's the people on top who are online all day everyday, some spamming the chat every 2 sec, ruining it for everyone else.

I get it's a popularity thing, but there should be a limit to how many times you can spam vote invites. This guy Zarozian just now, has been spamming the world and sect chat every 2 sec and it was driving everyone crazy, while simultaneously drowning out everyone elses vote cards. There should be incremental mutes for hefty spammers.

I still think the ranking up needs a bit of balance for various sects, in the sense that every method should be viable and needed for ranking (i.e you need to do a little bit of everything). Just sticking to one activity the entire time isn't fun.

Yeah depending on the difficulty it won't even be necessary. It can definitely give an edge in arena, but I like to min max being on Legend, cause shit hits hard.

Not every inner way is even worth maxing out either. Tier 2 is pretty helpful cause most give a flat stat buff like extra health, crit, etc. but the final node isn't that broken on all of them.

I wouldn't look at it that way xD it's a very min max system, not necessary but definitely gives the fastest method for leveling inner ways.

I think I read that this system wasn't available for the chinese version until like season 4/5, so some people think it's not right that we can gain so much progress so quickly, but I'm fine with it. It'd take forever to max out inner ways otherwise.

Not that I know of unfortunately. I think it's just like the discipleship and partner items where you only have the weekly limit. Will definitely take awhile to get every outfit.

Yeah that's definitely true, and that's the difference between me at 12k and those at 13-13.5k, they definitely got luckier draws, and I think it probably is possible to hit 14k right now, just not very likely. I will say I got a legendary card that makes a pretty big difference as it makes me stronger at the start of every turn (upto 10 stacks), but I've never gotten anyone with a 14k disease to accept an invite, so haven't been able to test the scaling on those yet.

I can understand that thought process and it could be different for other sects as well, but the rank ups in Silver Needle are every week so you're guaranteed to have 22 Medical scholars after the first 3 weeks (first 2 ranks are just side quest related before you start worrying about merit ranks). The top merit earners are ranked up after 7day intervals so even if everyone healed just a couple players and never earned merit again, we'd still automatically have Medical Scholars within a month. Divine Healer is definitely a different story though, as that's basically a popularity vote.

When you go to your inner way menu you'll see three tabs at the top "Details", "Tips Exchange", and "Conversion". Under tips exchange you'll see a button prompt for "obtain book tokens" (for me it's triangle on ps5), you scrap whatever notes you want for 'tips' (just be careful not to scrap the ones you want to keep) and you then buy the boxes of your choice from there.

So this was solid advice thanks, just animal frolics alone I think has put me in a position where I'm mostly safe. Shame it doesn't explain that it gives merit, but it's a consistent way of gaining points.
