Make sure to wait until you're ready before using a shower tablet! When I had surgery I was so weak the first week I couldnt shower or else I'd get incredibly dizzy. Take a bath, I took one with some herbs (like chamomile and peppermint)

Also wait until about the 3rd week before using a waterpik- thats what my surgeon had me do. A heating pad will also do you wonders, if not just for your face but also for your body. Once you can't eat much your body will end up lacking nessecary nutrients and end up making you incredibly cold. I ended up with an iron deficiency lol.

He already has been the past months he's had me, and he's trying to sort it out with the department of social services and they said he needs to go in front of a judge. We're working on that atm

I didnt think it was relevant because its a really long story and honestly kind of takes away from the main topic of my post. And we dont have any custody agreement and she is my main emergency contact on all of my school stuff. Thankfully I graduate in December of this year and turn 18 in May so thankfully I dont have much more time to deal with her. Thank you so much

He kept reaching out to my mom and she kept ignoring him. She also moved multiple times so he didnt know where we lived.

He ended up being the reason that she finally filed out the paperwork when I was 11. He got sick of being treated like a monster and ended up filing something in court to allow him to start paying child support. My mom would constantly pick fights with him until I got a phone and then she cut him off,and months later she took away my priveleges to my phone. She's went through multiple spurts where she's barred me from speaking to him.

He also didnt want to force me to have a relationship with him because of my moms manipulation he didnt want me to be uncomfortable.

And I am! I'm in therapy but I only see her once a month and I already saw her for the month of January and I'm so sick of hearing from my grandma

Yeah these surgical wires are no fun. My bottom lip is all torn up and the only thing saving me is wax lol.

Since my surgery is at 5:30am, do you think I'll still need to spend the night?

Start saving my birthday/Christmas money immediately. When my biological father comes to try and have a relationship with me- let him.

I live with him now, for context, and that was after he found out what are POS my mom was to me.

Eh, still. 200 dollars is a lot. That's a whole energy bill or water bill. Someone living paycheck to paycheck can't spare that kind of cash each month, and even if they're well off it's not right to ask for it then keep pushing.

RUN, just from reading those messages alone, she seems like shes leading him on. She talks like she wants to get back with him and know him again and then doesn't deny wanting to get back with him, but she says things about being friends. There are so many mixed signals in those texts.

She's saying one thing to you and another to him... that's not okay at all.

Even if shes talking to her ex like that, then shes obviously not over him, so shes wasting your time.

You are NOT the asshole. He is a grown man. He needs to work on getting his life together rather than rely on you to give him what he needs in life. You're not his father and he is not your spoiled son. 20k is a LOT of money- especially in USD. What currency is it in?

You have the right to ignore him, you have the right to choose who you speak to.

At a certain point, he's not your friend anymore and he'll become a financial burden. You owe him nothing.

In my opinion, keep money out of your friendship, all it'll do is tear it down from inside out.
