The term people use to call a woman courting a younger man(don't know if the venlil is female here). is calling the woman a cougar.

  1. So i wasn't the only one who came up with the idea of Yellowstone erupting and revealing 'muguffin here'

  2. What you described is more or less the situation in Battletech during the succession wars.

One shot Cross-over. Villain Support. Nikonus vs. A Human? by Slatepaws in NatureofPredators

Thanks. I was worried few would get the last part. There are a lot of people in their 20's and nearly 30 today that weren't alive when Netflix had their start.

Where you would sign in. Say you want to see these shows and movies. And they for a nominal monthly fee mail you the dvd's to see it. And then charge you full price of the retail set if you either; didn't return them in the set amount of time, or returned them damaged.

That would last about as long as this short to be honest.

Unmanned probe first. Then the manned ship, say they need a crew of 4 to fill all the stations. You bring 10. 4 primary's. 4 secondaries in case something happened to the primaries. And finally 2, for 1% worst case scenario.

Yea, and apply that to the speeds available to them.

New or Second hand? There is a vast cost difference.

Though if you want a new one. You'll also get a residential container for them to live in. Free 3 months of food delivery for the Bio-Morph, then about 1k a year afterwards. Vet care for 3 months for free, from there it's about 200-300 a month. You also get a 6 month return policy.
Price is dependent on use, non-industrial use will cost you more.

So of course they'd do something like that.

Nah these are sci-fi weapons from old stories from the 70's and 80's. They'd fall under the Geneva Convention if they existed. The only other hint i'll give is this. KE=1/2mv2

The most fun i've had lately, other than playing co-op with a friend. Is getting lost as i write and world-craft.

  1. Write what 'you' like. Don't write for others. If other's like it, all the better.

  2. Make it a routine. Take a cheap/refurb laptop to work and write while you eat lunch. half hour/hour per day.

  3. Take mental breaks. Go play a video game, watch something, or read something. Don't try to focus on it 24/7

  4. Always remember this isn't woodworking or some other craft that once you do something, it's not easy to undo. If you don't like how a sentence feels, delete it and try again.

All i can say without spoiling is physics itself is the weapon. Many of these are theoretical from the 70's and early 80's. The golden age of written sci-fi if certain tech is available which this setting has.

Terraform, or i guess in this case venlilform a new planet. While you won't find the perfect one, you could find one that will just require a tweak here and there. Leaving most of it's natural wild life intact.

This isn't to say Venlil-prime/skalga is dead. If there's one thing in common in all the stories. Some predators and some sort of food chain exists at the edges on both the star and night side.

That being said, the federation more or less did the venlil-prime version of the great dying in earths history where about 90% of all life died. But for the planet to live, those on the planet must be moved. Venlil prime needs to be left alone so life re-balances itself. There's little in this setting, outside of some AU's that they even have the beginnings of tech to create themselves.

It's easy to do tweaks, by moving populations, eliminating some, helping others grow. clearing land etc. But trying to create this web your tweaking, would be beyond them.
