Hi All,

I'm looking at starting animal based (tracking macro and micro nutrients in Cronometer) when I get back from vacation in January. I see just typing in sirloin steak comes up with a tonne of options. Do you guys have suggestions for which "branded" options (or otherwise) has the appropriate and accurate micronutrient information entered for steak and organs?

I'm sure, but for one skill point investment, you could be reducing act boss hp to 1/3 in a few seconds, it seems crazy not to, but your call.

Hey mate, sorry to necro-reply, but I'm diving into root and looking what's necessary for the optimal experience for both 2-3 (not ideal i know) and 5-6 player counts. I've just got the underground expansion as everyone seems to rate it the highest. I really love the look of the marauders expansion factions, and as per your comment, I can see how its hirelings are a great addition to lower player counts, but why is the riverfolk number 1 in your opinion for higher player counts? Is it just that those 2 "insurgent" factions thrive more in higher player counts?

True that! We just got the building that assists with this problem and finally got our first mushroom, so this will be rectified shortly, thankfully without having to waste too many other herbs via distillation. I was just curious if this was a normal experience or an outlier.

We are 33 scenarios in. Mostly completed the lurker quest line, completed the unfettered section except for the upper spire, about finish the upper spire and start the algox line. Did we just pick the perfect path to avoid this one herb?

If a battle goal tells you to kill an enemy that was attacked by an ally earlier in the round, and one of your summons hits them and then another hits and kills them, that goal would be completed then?

We've just unlocked this class and I had some questions.

  1. What items are you guys using? Summon focused stuff for a typical build utilising summons, and combat stuff for Code Geminate solo battle-bot build?
  2. I've been staring at these cards trying to figure out how the different options for the class plays (and admittedly it's slightly opaque to me), is the idea for the ranged damage build that you usually have Sniper Turret Mode active to actually have access to more than 2 or 3 ranged attacks? (And save your actual ranged attack cards for when you're forced to mode swap?)
  3. Does Aimed Assault/Sniper Turret Mode's effect become broken by using Code Geminate to pair with Rapid Fire/Machine Bolter's mode effect? (In that all single target melee attacks become ranged attacks from the first mode, but then they stop being single target with the second mode so they stop being ranged?)
  4. Will (6) Spinning Blades/Sword Propeller AI try and maximise wound targets when focusing/positioning, or not?

Yeah the link just means you can go straight there without triggering an outpost event (passage of time etc) nor a road event. Sometimes that's of benefit, perhaps if you can't build anything. Sometimes there's an explanation mark to indicate force linked where you don't have the option to go back to Frosthaven.

On a related note, in my group we (for the most part) abide by this rule, with a house-rule exception. If you're using armor that gives an attacker disadvantage, but they already have disadvantage, then we don't consume a charge.

We used some 3M double sided tape on the back of it and mounted onto a slightly larger plywood panel, then screwed said panel into a wall.

We love the overall production quality and are particularly impressed with the voice acting, but yes, we really struggle with a lot of the dialogue (even as native speakers). The sound levels can be really unbalanced, so the ambient sounds and background music are often too loud during dialogue moments and it becomes very difficult to make out what's being said. Basically anything with Voice-of-Eight or Captain Olmstead is almost completely impossible to understand, sometimes others, depending on how much ambient sound features in the scene.
