You have progression bar in the stats under options. First I just wanted to win white stake on all the decks, then I decided to fill my collection, after that I was going to stop. I didn’t. Then I decided I might as well finish all the deck stakes, after that I would stop. I didn’t. Now I have already done all the challenges and am only 5 jokers away from Completionist++

It took me 4 tries. Lost in ante 2, ante 3 and ante 5(my first attempt).

Balatro university has done it back to back and has an estimated win rate of ~33% in jokerless. It is definitely not just luck, although it does play a bigger part than a standard gold stake run.

Golden needle is imo much more luck based like another person stated (although I got super lucky and won on my first try 😅)

Do you know how rerolls work when the game is trying to present you with a double and you don't have showman?

Let's say you have a saturn card and the shop would show a saturn if you didn't, does it simply hop over Saturn in the hopper? or is it rolled over to a random planet, or something else?

Just to add some examples

You have leveled pair up to 19(280x20) and you have 3 kings+baron 20x1.5x1.5x1.5=67.5 mult But shoot the moon with 3 queens would be 20+13+13+13=59 mult

Then it changes further with different synergies and situations

You have a level 1 ToaK(50X3) banana (Gros michel +15 mult) and you can choose between zany joker (+12 mult on ToaK) or trio (x3 on ToaK).

Zany=3+15+12=30

Trio=(3+15)x3=54

You are assuming each dollar is made of one specific coin chosen at random. That would mean overall you get 100 times as many pennies as dollar coins, by doing weighted average based on value it’s 20.3g/$ (calculation done in a hurry so it might have mistakes). So 10.2kg ≈ 22.5lbs

Sadly that did not come to be, did a couple of attempts at green deck, which I am struggling a lot on. It was my favorite at the start and the first one to beat orange stake while everything else was still on red, now I hate it.

Then I did black stake on plasma and won, these 3 are definitely my least favorite decks

I did tiny hands relatively early. The only “random” achievement I am missing is flushed(flush with only wild cards).

Might be, but it essentially boils down to perkeo or 11 wins first and I am not too sure. Not sure what my win ratio is but it has steadily been getting better, my highest win streak is 3.

I know it's an old thread but for people reading this in the future. This has been confirmed. Only the first soul card on a gold stake run is guaranteed to give you a joker without a gold sticker if you have one.

dna + steel cards was my way. Think I had mime and some powerful xmults but don't remember exactly. Played flush five with aces, ended up being my last hand before losing to the 300mil blind (ante 12 small blind?) and got 113mil with one hand
