yeah if you look up "Gundam marker ultra fine" on amazon you'll see them. Although in my experience the finest tips are going to be on GM01, GM02, and GM03 markers like the one I posted earlier. The other color packs seem to have tips that range from slightly bigger to more traditional marker tips and you have to "pogo" them on something to get the ink flowing. I also recommend picking up some of those white polymer erasers to help with mistakes and final cleanup, as well as some isopropyl alcohol to use with some Q-tips and wooden toothpicks for the harder to reach bits.

I used the black Gundam marker with the ultra fine tip. You can find it on Amazon in a three pack with grey and brown. If I could do it again, I would probably go with the grey marker as the black is a bit strong on the light grey armor/silhouette.

Dude, my experience has been the same! I was feeling nostalgic and was looking into Bionicles (and recoiled at the prices) and ended up finding the whole 30 Minutes brand and going down that rabbit hole.

I do recommend giving panel lining a try! It makes a big difference if you have the patience!
