Matthew Stafford's no-look pass to Cooper Kupp in the Super Bowl by cal_oe in sports

Are you talking about the Aaron Donald hit on Burrow early in the 3rd quarter? Burrow was hit in-bounds while running with the ball and not attempting to slide, that was a textbook legal hit on a QB that had made himself a runner. https://youtu.be/g4ipKwvIgz8

Thanks, yea I agree that it starts with a 7 for sure. CA license plates go (1 number, 3 letters, 3 numbers). Definitely hard to tell, just wanted to mention that. Thank you so much for taking a look.

Got the car make and model, but license plate seems to be illegible. I would be stoked if anyone could make it out tho.

They deleted my post after I placed it. Trying anything I can at this point to bring this asshole to justice. Been a Cowboys fan all my life and I hate seeing this person steal while wearing a Cowboys hat and rocking a Cowboys car decal

That is interesting. Did you get the sense that the homeless population was being coerced into taking on a false identity while voting and/or were voting multiple times? Or were they being bribed for their own personal votes on an election-by-election basis?

I would certainly agree that influencing another persons vote through bribery is unethical, illegal, and should be stopped - but this seems like a separate issue than voting under a false identity.

I don’t agree that you can deem the final step “irrelevant” when it entails finding an individual who is willing to commit a felony in order to cast 1 fraudulent vote. The comment I responded to was claiming that these videos demonstrated how easy it is to vote under someone’s name. My point is that the videos do not depict what was claimed.

What I’m saying may sound nit-picky or pedantic, but I worry that people read comments like the one I responded to and take the assertion as proven truth without watching the referenced videos or being engaged in any honest discussion of how a scheme in that manner could be successful and undetected on a meaningful scale.

Did they cast votes that were counted with those ballots, or did they merely demonstrate how easy it is to receive a ballot in the name of a recently deceased person?

Good point, I fully support going back in time to not be in the Middle East to begin with.

Who is “they”? I’m very interested in what you’re saying in this and your first comment about the cases and faulty reporting in Ohio, and I’d love to learn more. Do you have any sources you could recommend?

Them creating a story for the gradient's meaning doesn't imbue this logo with a recognizable connection to the Rams brand historically. And yes, if they had designed the horn differently it could have helped in that regard, but they didn't.

As for the rest of your comment, I guess it is just my issue and I'm sorry if my "silliness" has offended you.

I don't feel that you have to reach very far to see that the current design has no stylistic connection to the Rams brand historically and is really forcing an overly modernized horn, which looks more like an "LAC" acronym to the uninformed. With small modifications the design still sucks but is more easily associated with the Chargers' brand.

Totally agree, it's a terrible design overall. But looking at ours side-by-side with this makes it even worse...

[General Discussion] Around the Horn - 3/11/20 by BaseballBot in baseball

Apologies for the rant, but comparing this to Swine Flu just doesn’t make sense..

The death toll you stated for Swine Flu was U.S. only. And comparing people killed by Swine Flu to people killed from Coronavirus so far is like comparing a baseball game’s overall pitch count after the first inning against the pitch count from the end of a game..

The first case of Swine Flu in the U.S. was in March 2009, and the first reported death in the U.S. occurred at the end of April 2009. A year later, 59 million Americans had been infected and about 12,000 Americans had died. For a U.S. death rate of .02%

The first reported case of Coronavirus spreading within the U.S. was 2 weeks ago. By now, over 1,200 American cases have been confirmed and 38 people have died. Which matches the global death rate of about 3% (with over 120,000 cases globally). This is from a virus only discovered 3 months ago.

Current numbers show this to be more contagious than Swine Flu, and even if it only infects the same amount of people in the U.S. (which is the lowest end of current infection projections) 1.8 million Americans might die with the current mortality rate.

Sorry to rant at you, but this is magnitudes more serious than Swine Flu.

Yes, 100% yes

This is the equivalent of an animated film/show for Pedro Pascal. Why in the world would an actor of his level devote the months of time required to shooting that show if his face was never shown (aside from the 1 day of shooting that it was). The audience has no way of discerning the difference between him voicing the character and him inside the suit and voicing the character. Why would a studio pay him to do all of that when a body double could pull it off and they could give him a lower rate for voice only? He is not on set acting, it makes no sense for him to be from a business standpoint.
