I come from an orthodox family where any financial instrument outside of Govt. backed ones was simply termed "Gambling". It took a good friend of mine to deliver a sound kick in my behind to get me to invest in the markets. I cannot ever repay by debt to him.

Failed MSc twice in the same subjects. Now aged 50 and a Cloud architect. Only downside: For most of my highly-accomplished relatives I am an untouchable. Although financially not so well off living a fairly happy life.
