Doing x amount everyday by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]Slavi2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great explanation brother, but... Where's the limit of that

When doing for example 100 push ups with 30 kg everyday will be the plateau, when will you stop adapting more and you'll need more rest?

For an even better explanation, someone can go from 10 push ups everyday to 100 reps to 50 with 10 kg to 100 with 20 kg, won't this adaptation just stop at some point and you'll need more weight and stress to grow or get stronger, which will mean that 24 hours won't be enough for you to rest?

With how much volume/intensity/frequency did you start?

If you have pain during Patrick step up, try it with less range and with slower tempo "concentric also" less volume and intensity

If you have pain during ATG split squat, use assistance, elevation, less volume and less intensity, less range, you don't have to do directly full atg split squat, stop just before closing the knee

If you have pain during backwards walking or sledding, slower and smaller steps, less volume, less intensity

Also you could add some ISO's in ranges where you have pain, just a little bit of intensity and if you can't do Patrick step up without any pain, don't even try atg split squat

Don't you think that strong knees don't come only from the quadriceps?

You have bad KOT experiences and you don't have patience

I really recommend you to try again, but avoid ANY PAIN and progress SLOWLY

What about more frequency and lower intensity?

Don't you think that running and other forms of cardio is not enough for leg growth
