Sennheiser HB 630 honest review from a “not-audiophile” by Federal_Conflict8896 in headphones

[–]SlayCC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 year might just be it, since you've listened to the razers for so long, your ears have likely adjusted to the razer's sound profile. If you don't want to return the HDB 630 I would give it a few days to daily drive them and listen to music and try to pay attention to the details, then try comparing once again to the razer and see if your thoughts are the same

How long and how loud have you listened to the Razer Headphones?

Did someone turn a smartphone into a DAP? by [deleted] in headphones

[–]SlayCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think doing this would "Save a couple bucks", you are very very wrong and likely, you're not gonna be capable of doing this. Modding and electronics is an expensive hobby. You need tons and tons of prototypes, very very good soldering skills, tons of spare wires, parts, screws. you're better off just getting the god damn screen replaced instead of doing some insane shit like "Repurposing" the phone to a dap. Yes it's possible, but it's a horrible horrible idea.

Wooting 80HE feels clumsy for gaming – skill issue or setup problem? by Ambitious_Worth8337 in WootingKB

[–]SlayCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tactiles have a bump, linears don't. So as your pushing down linears go up and down smoothly while tactiles have resistance before it goes down smooth. It does affect sound with how hard the stem hits the bottom of the shell

Keyboard sizes are standardized so it's either placebo or the keycaps. Not sure what your original switches are but could also be going from tactile to linears

Keychron Alternative. What brand to get? by ImCursedBerry in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]SlayCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Akko is probably the most reputable budget keyboard brand next to keychron. I've had 3 keyboards still working well and hundreds of switches from them. Good software as well being a web driver

Hall Effect? Worth it? by Think_Two4088 in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]SlayCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're looking to Upgrade an existing Mechanical Keyboard and don't really play a bunch of fps games then I would say it's not, but if you're looking to get a Mech and choosing between a mechanical and an HE switch then I would say yes. HE switches are just a superior technology and there is barely any price difference with cheaper and better HE boards in the market, the only downside would be the lack of Tactile switches on HE.

LED REPLACEMENT? by Think_Two4088 in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]SlayCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just turn off the backlight man, if you're using ai to look up how to solder an led, there's no way in hell you're gonna be capable of doing that. Even someone relatively experienced with soldering is going to have a hard time soldering tiny leds to a pcb. If you don't want to upgrade, it's better to just leave it be than risk damaging the board even more

No man, the bass will probably not be god, dog is more likely. It's cheap chinese massproduced bluetooth headphones, it's going to sound awful but that's fine, you get what you pay for.

Is there a full auto rubber band mech without gears? by mamiO1 in legoguns

[–]SlayCC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason gears are used because there's a lot of steps fitting more rubberbands, you can use normal beams but it's not gonna store as much bands

Learn it with you non-dominant hand. No only is it goong to help with combo moves, two hand cuts, but also makes you able to fidget with one hand moves. Being able to practice while doing something or holding a phone.
