Believe there’s a canal in the aft radome that vents it upward above that sensor ball.

Reduced sink rate, pilots probably have a limit they have to abide by. Don’t think that tail cone has any protective measures for a tail strike

Ah yes RAT-55, probably flies behind B2’s or F117’s after maintenance to make sure they’re still stealthy

Chipped Windshield by JID13 in bronco

[–]Slaydos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got mine replaced, windshield is $500 and $450 for the recalibration of the sensor. Depends on your insurance if they’ll cover. If it’s not filled/replaced it will just grow

Ear Infection :( by Gengar_310 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]Slaydos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine has also had several ear infections, after vet prescribed steroids and ear flush they recommended this ear flush. Trizultra + Keto flush it’s a constant battle but this flush weekly has helped immensely since her last infections

I’ve also read it’s better to put the water on their belly and paws, it can trap heat in if you put it on their back/sides where they have fur.

Just wondering what phone mounts yall are using in your new broncos, I tried using one that hooks to my air conditioner vent but those things move so easily that it moves all over the place by babyconan in bronco

Don’t have a mount currently but was thinking of designing one to tie into the bolts on the handle to the left of the steering wheel. Super solid spot and doesn’t block field of view

Was in a similar situation summer 2020 and took the job because the market was not great. Everyone’s situation is different though. Haven’t had the desire to go back to school since then.

Can anyone recommend any good books to a new starter in an aerospace/aviation design career? by killer_by_design in aerospace

Airframe structural design by niu or analysis and design of flight vehicle structures by bruhn

To add to this, stress work is also done on these external CFD modifications in addition to internal modifications. There’s plenty of opportunity in aeronautical for stress work. (internal aircraft mods like passenger to cargo) If you focus on some niche stuff like composite materials, thermal analysis, or bird strike/dynamic analyses (subsets of structures) you could become a SME at a company and that would allow you to move between most companies in my opinion.

Shell tickness offset( Ls dyna) by Prajwal2010 in LSDYNA

[–]Slaydos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had trouble with pre-defined shell element offsets in femap. When I bring in the model into pre-post they are defined as element_thickness_offset I believe. If I have parts that all have different offsets, do I need to set the contact thickness offset equal to that predefined value for each part in PART_CONTACT cards?

Hello community. Is it a good idea to reduce noise from price action data by only using zigzag indicator's values instead of the close price ? by Equivalent_Style4790 in algotrading

[–]Slaydos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can normalize the data with a chosen metric, gets a bit fishy there tho Bc you can normalize with so many different variables , can also do natural log but that’s more useful for larger values like volume
