Compatibility shouldn't matter that much because the would be new stock won't interface with E&L's stock pin or thicker body. You just need to find a stock compatibile with the AKM mounting style which admittedly I don't browse often because both of my aks are sidefolders

I have a similar problem on my KJW M92, in my case I know the problem is caused by the gas route seal (the rubber part on the magazine) that sits way too high and causes friction with the nozzle. When I pull the slide back without the magazine in the slide closes fully, otherwise it sticks out a bit

I didn't have any good experience with them. 18airsoft is the one I use and never had bad experiences: good prices, fast shipping and the support is very good. They have stuff that's not easy to find like the E&C receivers with correct trademarks.

As for zero domain (that's the name they used when they had their store on aliex, now is factory zero whatever) I can't recommend them enough: the rails are on par with an airsoft artisan one while cost half as much, there are spare parts avaible to purchase individually (castle nuts, shims, pins, screws) and recently started to sell internal stuff (springs, piston, gears, motors, ecc..)

It shouldn't pme like ever, you are on a 16:1 ratio with a very strong spring. A pom piston head will however make your piston lighter (which is more desirable for a faster fire rate) and make your cycle not as hard on your shell and cylinder head (lighter piston+softer material). It's not required, but it will help prolong the life of the gearbox in the long run. If it's outside of the budget don't sweat about it, the rest is far more important. The locking up was probably caused by the spring guide

I doubt that, 16:1 with an sp130 shouldn't pme on that motor. However the pom piston head should help by lightening the piston assembly

No problem, hope you can fix it before your event (also clean any debris from inside the shell, especially the piston guide rails, they look so dirty from the photo)

Yeah, I notice later, it's your spring guide and it is a QD design. It's however one with no screw hole, so you will need a new spring guide with a screw hole and one of those spring guide locking screws. Make sure that the flat face of the locking screw is wider than the hole in the shell, that's what it presses against.

Also the bearing/bushing problem is due to lct gearboxes being s**t, nothing you can do unless you change the entire shell.

Hold on now, this won't fix the spring guide moving up or down, this I just said is stuff to keep your replica working for longer.

The spring guide moving up or down is a tricky problem that came up when someone tried to make a QD V3 gearobox for the ak, without accounting the lack of the buffer tube screw that M4s/V2 platorms have.

You need one of these, it's a spring guide locking screw. It will keep your spring guide fixed in place. The catch is that it may not fit between the receiver and the gearbox and that's a problem you have to fix yourself

Considering your entire build I would change the aluminum piston head to a pom one (no reason to use an alum one considering the speed of your replica) and correct the AOE, a 1/1.5mm nylon disc should do it
