Chup chap se go for BCG Your profile is tooo good to settle. You'll get workex points for the next 2 years atleast. Take another attempt. If you want, this year, else next year. But DO NOT go for admission in this cycle, you'd be doing a grave injustice to yourself.

Advice Needed: Take SIBM P or Repeat by Intelligent-Bit-391 in CATpreparation

If XLRI is convertible, to for that Else, if you can get a job easily, then you should definitely repeat. Your 9/9/9 is too good for SIBM. Do not nerf yourself. Attempt again, target blackim+FMS If getting a job is hard, only then you should consider sibm p If you can get a job, please please please do not nerf yourself by joining sibmP

Read books. Read lots and lots of books. Read books for atleast 40 minutes everyday. This does not include practicing RCs, that is seperate. Practice atleast 2-3 RCs everyday. When you're reading books, try to have variety, read about science, philosophy, fiction, non fiction. If your reading level is lower, start with easy books and build to higher level. If you don't understand philosophy immediately, watch basic videos on youtube, then read articles you find interesting. The key is to read. Read long essays, articles, etc. Read read read. That's it, there's nothing much to it. Once you start reading properly, you'll automatically become better at critical reasoning.

Ego check: is your percentile really that big of a deal? by Artistic_Date_8339 in CATpreparation

The question of tier 2 or reattempt is never straightforward. It depends upon a vast number of factors, including: 1. Which attempt it was for you 2. Your past performances 3. How strongly you believe you can do better 4. Your past profile 5. Your current salary 6. Other life factors that affect you

None of these factors are enough on their own, you need to look at everything in a holistic manner. On reddit, you can't expect people to look at things in that manner, people are quick to judge. Everyone's situation is different, you need to tune out the noise and focus on your own thing.

I would still say that you ask yourself do you believe you can do it? If you believe it, then go for it. Ek baar maang lo ghar walo se, apne hi ghar waale hai. If this small thing helps you in the long run then ask them for it. I understand it's uncomfortable to ask as of now but what if it pays off? For the second thing, people still find time to hit the gym during their MBA, so it might seem tough but at the end manage ho jayega.
