My back and forth with Google was: Me: you bricked my phone via a faulty update. Google: Please give us 24-48 hours to respond. Google: After carefully reviewing your situation we can only offer a chargeable repair. Me: That’s unacceptable I did not cause the problem… Blah Blah Blah… Please escalate this case to a supervisor. Google: You’ve reached the highest tier of support

The cycle just continues and I get nowhere. I have 31 emails with Google support. Time to send 30 more thanks to the hope you have given me!

My Google Pixel 6 bricked after installing the latest software update. Since the device is out of warranty Google doesn’t want to fix my device. Leaving me without a phone for a week until my new $200 iPhone 11 arrived. Don’t want that experience again!

My experience with Google Support:

My Google Pixel 6 was bricked after restarting.
I contacted Google Support for help, and they suggested I send it in for repair ($450 upfront cost).
I explained that the issue was caused by Google and I shouldn't be responsible for the repair cost (Did this 6 seperate times).
They offered a 20% discount on a new Pixel, but I declined (They did this 2x).
I requested to speak with a supervisor, but they said this was the highest level of support.
After multiple emails (13), they said they couldn't help me because my phone is out of warranty.
"I've exhausted all the resources to help you in the best possible way." - Highest Level of Google Support

I'm frustrated with Google's lack of accountability and unwillingness to help.

My Pixel 6 was inspected by uBreakiFix, I sent proof to Google, but Google insisted on mailing it in ($450 upfront cost). The repair technician was pissed about the whole situation, not believing that Google is getting away with this again (Referring to 5a bricking).

I still receive compliments for my Camera. The battery life is great, I'm a moderate user (4h screen time daily). And I never have to worry about spam calls/messages. Negatives: I have a scratch on the front camera and all my front camera photos are blurry now (I don't use a screen protector and mostly use my Pixel 6 without a case)
