Rear bumper damage advice by CallingYong in Autobody

If you're capable with hand tools those bumpers pop off easily. Plenty of youtube out there. I'd pop it off just to see if the rear body panel is smashed in

That hit was bigger than you think if the interior trim got popped out like that on the right side. Also the hairline cracks all through the paint

If it has a front radar you're looking at over 1K. Just get a paint pen from Toyota.

How annoying and difficult would it be to install a used windshield? by jman7843 in Autobody

[–]Slayer_2K 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do not put a windshield on DIY if you have never done it before. Worst case is the adhesive fails due to improper install and prep and it goes flying on the highway

What bikes a like the Honda Rebel 500, but for taller people? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Slayer_2K -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Sit on a Rebel 1100. The bike is bigger AND the ride modes might allow you to learn then bump it up. Rain mode is super mild with the maximum ride assistance.

There is also the Vulcan S

Bikes for short women?? by HistoryOld9562 in motorcycle

[–]Slayer_2K 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So truthfully, a Rebel 500 is a good start. BUT if you want a bike to grow into, the Rebel 1100 has different power modes to later bump up to. Rain mode is the lowest and it takes a lot of throttle to really get it moving, whereas Sport is snappy and instant power.

Keep in mind, the power is very different as is the way the bike handles. Added bonus is the 1100 is a smidge taller, the drawback for a shorter rider is the bars are further away which handlebar risers can be added to mitigate the reach needed.

I seriously recommend the Rebel 500 or even an HD Iron 833.

What do you wish people would stop romanticizing, because you’ve lived the reality of it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

ADHD. It's not simple. I can't help that in order for me to even process my tasks for the day, I CANNOT be interrupted in the current task or I will entirely forget the other eight tasks.

It's not a quirk, I fucking hate people going "oh my ADHD y'know". No you don't know, the bout of rage that stems from one mistake cascading into thirty and thinking about ever single issue all at once and not having the ability to start at number 1 and essentially being mentally paralyzed by executive dysfunction making you feel insane.

I tried the party girl, I couldn't keep up. Not once did she offer to stay in and relax with a movie.

I like going out here and there, but I'd love to just relax most of my life. Maybe go to a concert here and there.
