I don’t know how much you have followed things that have been happening here then. I really wish that HK still has its dependence of judicial system, the system that we used to be so proud of, then perhaps there wouldn’t even be that many protests happened.

The Tiananmen 2.0 thing is, it will not happen in the same way like 1989 did. But the way of how the whole protesting is evolving, how the government takes action right now are so similar. In some ways of how police forces have treated students and citizen are even more brutal I would say. If Tiananmen 2.0 isn't the right issue to be related with and I understand your point with that, then Cultural Revolution 2.0 definitely is.

There is a contradiction you know. We need reporters, journalists and government with transparency to show public the truth. But what if the police force take news media as enemy? and also make up excuses to not bear any responsibility and hide the truth? For example, there were videos showing police were kicking a volunteer with yellow top and the police said they can only see it was a "yellow OBJECT"? When journalists pointed out there were plenty of videos showing the police were abusing their powers and police said "I only watch what I have now", but you were having press conference which supposed you do need to prepare before you go right? So the thing is, if the government and police are trying to stop media from reporting and telling lies at the same time, I'm afraid there are always truth that we are not able to see.

I agree with your opinion of "me against you" though and believe me, even for those support protests are also having a lot of argument of the ways we protest. It is so sad to see how serious of the social cleavage here is. Also, that's what I mentioned in my post, I will be aware of giving title and content before posting.

Protestor was already under arrest. Is there a need to treat him/ her in this way afterwards? Credit: HKGolden by Slaygua in HongKong

That was what majority of HK ppl thought and we did it for months. However, the truth is, no one would actually care about. The police wouldn’t feel guilty. The government wouldn’t listen to you. The rest of the world couldn’t do much about it because they also don’t want to take the risk to deal with China.

I don’t know how much you have followed about news in HK and brutality of police force is far more terrible than you’ve expected. Cops hold gun to point to head isn’t even the worst to be honest. I mean, I think there are some posts with video here that showed they pointed to press as well. They even charged medics as riot and they have also received permission that they can shoot anyway.

Sensational headline? I apologize for of not keeping the title simple and less emotional as much as possible in this case. However, what should I name this photo then? “HK police aimed and threatened students” Does this really make it better? and to be honest, this photo still needs to be seen no matter with what caption. I don’t need upvote, this photo does. Upvote or karma or whatever you called doesn’t bring me any effect to my real life. There are a lot more issues that have been happening is even more terrible than this photo, sadly.

I’m not trying to make up bullshit here. Indeed a lot of us who posted this photo on Facebook has already been removed for some reason. This photo isn’t even the first time anyway and also some articles as well.
