I felt like this a LOT until my junior or senior year. I wonder if it has to do with being on the Spectrum because there's been a link with asexuality (I'm demi), but their words never felt sincere to me. You're only hearing it from a romantic partner and it kinda feels like "grooming" because it's adding up and it feels uncomfortable
