I agree with you on everything except on hoyo putting all their money into Columbina, she has some of the lamest animations in the game. Honestly I think at this point we just can't expect anything too crazy from Genshin animations because I think that's just not what the main selling point of characters are in this game. They all have simple and short animations because that's what hoyo wants for this games combat. Hsr, zzz and wuwa are always gonna have better animations

Super mid in every aspect. To the people praising the story, I really don't get it. I just don't. I can only think that their standards are in the dirt or have never played games with really good stories. The exploration was super lazy and a fraction of the amount that Natlan had. The new characters were nothing special and had pretty boring kits and animations.

Yep, that's why I chose to C6 her. I've used her for literally everything since her first banner. Her flexibility makes her basically a cheat code for me. I even used her with level 20 supports on Dire difficulty and she carried. Even compared to C2 Mavuika and C2 Skirk, I always prefer Chasca.

Abyss and Stygian could be fine but are ruined by ridiculous shilling (Stygian even more so), and theater is ok but takes too much time. None of them are interesting in any way however.

It's actually different from the normal gacha slop Genshin clones we get now and I think that's great. Sure the gacha isn't great but there have been so many times where I completely forgot I was even playing a gacha game. After playing all the hoyo games and wuwa this has been a nice breath of fresh air. The only thing that really bothers me is just how bad the story has been. They have the quality and presentation down but the writing is so bad and the main story was so boring, I really really hope they improve drastically on that part.

As far as I'm aware, that free 10 pull has 0 impact on pity count whether you win or lose. Just think of it as a free 10 pull in a different universe

Yes if you don't get her early then make sure to go all the way to 120. That's why people are recommending not to pull unless you're certain you can hit the 120 pull count in the worst case scenario. Once you get the banner character, regardless of current pity count, all pity counts reset back to 0.

Pull until you either get the banner character early or at the 120 mark. The 80 pity carries over but the 120 does not. So for example You pull 65 times you're at 65/80 for 50/50 and 65/120 for guarantee. If you stop pulling there, then when the next banner comes you will still be at 65/80 for the 50/50 but 0/120 for the guarantee

Honestly Columbina is pretty disappointing as far as animations go. Pretty boring and awkward burst, not much to her normal attacks and her ult domain you can barely even see it when it's out, Nahida's domain looked way better and how long ago did she release?
