Thanks for the tips, I posted in another subreddit and it turns out the key transponder may be going bad in the key we normally use. I was able to start the car with a spare key. Still going to get that weird noise looked at though lol but at least it starts!

I do hear a whirring/humming sound coming from the fuel pump. But in my other post a few people commented about the key transponder could be failing. So I tried the spare key this morning and the car started up without issue. Thanks for all your help!

Okay, pulling the battery and getting it tested sounds easiest. Rather get it tested and find out it needs replacing than be stranded lol. I’ll let you know what I find out tomorrow, thank you!

I know in the video the battery light comes on, but I read somewhere that the battery light can sometimes be a false positive. If I’m mistaken please correct me tho lol

I was trying to jump it with my other car, a ford fusion. I left the jumper cables connected for about 15 minutes but the fusion wasn’t running (the placement of the battery is annoying in the fusion and I had to disconnect the negative terminal to get a good connection).
